QCDN turned down by Kontera

Yahoo said:
* The sale of products from any of the following countries: The Balkans, Burma (Myanmar), Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, The Sudan, Syria or Zimbabwe

hahahaha

Anyhow, I'm guessing it's the "profanity" thing again. Keep at it, I'm sure someone will accept.

Yeah I am not worried, just tried to get some variety to the current ads.
What I am a little bit ticked about is that Yahoo says "Please see our complete list of guidelines for a positive user experience here". WTF, so unless you have a web page that talks about fuzzy warm feelings you get from cuddling your plushy toy thing you can't be on YPN. They are essentially implying QCDN users do not have a positive user expereince, and while that may be true in the case of some users, it's certainly not true for the overwhelming majority, or else those users wouldn't be here anymore.

i can think of a dozen websites that do this, but theyre mainly disgusting fetish websites, so be glad QCDN isnt one

As far as the user experience things, I agree. It does seem a little condescending to say that the website doesn't provide positive experience, especially considering that Yahoo's creepy little ad stuffs and staff aren't ever going to post here and check how it is themselves.

Google > Yahoo

Interestingly enough Yahoo is taking chunks out of Google's search engine market share (as is the new MSN search (which is pretty uber BTW)). Yahoo has something Google doesn't, communities and a loyal user base through Y! messenger. Yeah, Google is hip and all, but also under pressure to perform, while no one is expecting miracles from Yahoo.

Bunch of analysts revised their projections from up to $500 a share of GOOG to as low as $385. It will be interesting to see where Google goes in time. They do have a lot of cash, but they also need to make profit to keep investors happy, and GOOG investors are much more up tight about performance than Yahoo investors are.
