The act of self can overshadow accusations if you've the inner strength to prove it.

Tec I only know you from the Serket Ring incident, and from that I know you as a thieving asshole. Whether you really are one at heart I may never know, nor do I need to. Prove to yourself that you are a ________ before you try to prove that to others. You seem far too confused with yourself.

Uzor is right though, being to analyze a situation (no matter what the context) is always a justifiable trait to have at your disposal. Lies and manipulation go hand in hand in this game, and I can give you a few stories to attest to that. You always have to be reading both sides of the page and making sure you have all chickens in a line.

Heaven fobid you miscalculate and end up getting screwed or ruining your reputation.

Lies and manipulation is important in real life, too. You didn't think all the business men got to where they are without any lies and manipulations, did you? :p Most rich people got to where they are through getting their hands dirty. Lieing, manipulation, and stepping over people are all ways to get ahead of others. And thus, getting what you want.

In-game, its easy to get what you want by playing clean. But the game isn't real life, nor is real life a game. Being able to know what people's intentions are in-game, makes it easier to manipulate them in to your liking. Its also easier to see who you can trust, and who you can't trust.

Hell, if I wasn't good at phychological stuff, manipulation etc. I'm sure I'd have been flamed several times over already.

Oh of course not! I believe that all upper class citizens are model human beings and politicians aren't corrupt!</sarcasm>

But yeah, I hear you. I'd probably still be in a few sticky situations if I hadn't been very clever in my wording and actions.
