One thing people forget that if any flame is well thought out and typed out in a decent manor(like Rappas threads) it could succeed.

All we're seeing is "Fuck this person, this person is a gimp, fuck Jps" and so on. That's why all the threads suck. It's all the same cry baby bullshit with no thought put into it. Everyone is so quick to flame that their flame backfires because of that.

I'm not saying that if a thread is well thought out you could flame an entire race but it prolly wouldn't have backfired as badly. The Flameboard eats morons for lunch. If you're smart about it, you'll have a nice buffet.
 
Not saying Rappas thread sucked. They rocked but I was using his as an example for well thought out flames.

Normally I'm not a fan of bringing up one topic in another topic, but since this topic is *about* other topics, that kinda makes the point moot. Therefore, I would like to take the opportunity to interject a post this topic's OP made in another topic about 10 minutes before making this topic:

Which can be summarized to:

1. I, by my own admission ("didn't even get halfway through..."), didn't actually read the other topic to know the actual points up for debate.
2. Friend defense ("felore and koenig are awesome"). Not, incidentally, a very solid one either, I might add.
3. I will "altruistically" go and make a "completely unrelated" flame about "flames in general" immediately afterward.

Point number 3 being this topic itself allows me to neatly make this entire commentary be on-topic. Points number 1 and 2 aren't really what I'm getting at *here* (they're more of an on-topic thing for the other topic), but serve to explain point number 3.

Honestly, no sense of subtlety whatsoever.

Flameboard is just people crying, whether its about stealing or its about bad parties. Its all crying, people wanting sympathy, or wanting people to agree with them so they can be like "Damn Im good"

Flameboard is either ego boost or ego destroy. Mostly its ego destroy unless youre extremely reputable.

I'll agree with that, QCDN is all mob mentality. If you have friends you're ok but if you go against the majority of people, then you're bound to get shot down no matter how valied the topic or flame. I didn't expect to "win" or anything posting this. I'm just sick of people having one crappy party and wanting to blame the entire world, sympathy is overrated, but in today's society its a thing people relish in.

Oh whatthefuck ever dude. Seriously man, this is such straight bullshit right here. Mob mentality.... you know I have disagreed and called people out on crap before, people with alot of friends that are top posters here, and there wasn't one instance of bandwagon brow beating I can think of.

If people don't like you are disagree with you, it just might have something to do with you being wrong, not everyone else just bandwagoning against you.

You aren't the best example to use against his claim, Excim. You're a big QCDN name, yourself. You're just benevolent. You're right, though, at least to a point. There's no mob mentality against people until they (at least in the eyes of the majority) earn it. Once you get in that position, though, nothing you do will ever be right. I think it'd be more accurate to say QCDN is merciless in driving out the unpopular.

Eh, there is no "mob mentality". Calling people bandwagoners/ignorant masses is just an excuse made up by people who argue stupid crap that is generally lacking so much substance and/or logic that it can't possibly be seen as the reasonable answer.

Many people here are very logical when it comes to their train of thought and typically give a very reasonable answer towards stuff that's worthy of even giving an answer to. Calling other people the ones who don't stop to think about things before posting is more times than not the exact opposite of the situation.

Post something stupid, you're gonna get a whole lot of people not taking it seriously.
Post something worth half a damn and you can get a rather quality discussion going. It'll only eventually break down when (as previously mentioned) someone makes a blatently stupid post.
