I was on my way to a merit party tonight and got owned by FFXI-atlas.com. Observe.

My ultimate destination was to exit to Bhaflau from inside Alzadaal, as noted here:

Yet looking at the Bhaflau maps, I notice:

0115_bhaflau-thickets_1.jpg
0115_bhaflau-thickets_2.jpg

There is no #2 exit in Bhaflau from Alzadaal. What gives? Seems like a typo, everytime I took the supposed #2 exit I kept arriving in Bhaflau at the #1 exit.

On a side note, how many staging points do we have now? I didn't even realize they added more with the last update; I have Nyzul now but I'm sure I'm missing more.

G-6 on the second map. It's a bit of land with a one way drop down to the tunnel leading in to Halvung, which in turn is just a straight tunnel through Halvung to Mt. Zhayolm, Navukgo island side.

I've been to the area before mobs and the path through the ruins was added, through the path in Halvung.

that island look like a sweet merit party camp upper lvl you have the vt-it lizardmen and in lower side t-vt greater Colibri and them war bugard which are also t-vt.

the exit you looking for is at top right part of f-6 on the 3rd map in open post

So how do you get there from Alzadaal? The Bhalfau #2 exit wasn't working for me. Do you have to do a CS or have some mission requirement before you can reach there?

My mistake perhaps, i was refering to the portal to get you to the Zhaylum Remnants, as i thought you were. So not necessarilly irrevelant, but w/e man, at least you got to post your duck again right?

That still wouldn't have helped Cmdrfly out, because then he'll just be at the Zhayolm Remnants area, with little clue about where to go to get to the exit to Bhaflau he wants.

but it'll help him once in Nyzul Isle.

The four teleporters there are pretty uniform, and easy to remember.

They're some-what logically placed if you rotate the map 90 degrees clockwise, making Bhaflau southwest, Zhayolm northwest, Arrapago northeast, and Silver Sea southeast. This causes their positioning to resemble that of the locations on the Besieged Map.

If you've been to any two of them, and noted the Remnants you'd be at(which is listed on the map,) shouldn't take long to figure out where to go for a specific one you're searching for.

Theres also the fact that those maps are from ffxi-atlas, so finding the right remnant portal should be cake, where as finding the right portal to get to the exit isn't as so.

Reading entire posts is useful.

For future readers: If you ever want to find a specific exit in Alzadaal using ffxi-atlas, start from that specific exit, and work backwards to find your directions. The letter listed without an arrow is destination for teleporters.

Theres only two, so north/south is pretty irrelevant, and they're right beside each other pretty much.

(Full Metal Alchemist is ...gay) and now my post is long enough

I didn't say it was difficult to get the right one on a 50/50 chance. Just that it's not as clearly labeled as the Remnant portals are.

Just look:
remnantportal.jpg

Clearly labeled

bhaflauportal.jpg

Not clearly labeled.

Actually, looking at the maps I realize now I was wrong. But then agian I was going off personal memory, which is fuzzy because I've only been there a whopping once - when the portals were unlocked. You go to the Bhaflau Remnants and take the east teleporter.

There's no need to complete ass about it jerk. No need to post "Reading entire posts is useless, as all posts were helping. Although I shouldn't expect more coming from you I suppose.

Considering he was using atlas, and the atlas map clearly displays which portal goes to which Remnant, giving him directions to the Remnants is pretty redundant, and yes, useless.

It seems like going places in Ath Uhrgan was easier when there were less teleports...

Yeah, and the Engraved Tablets aren't even working yet =/ Just wait until those islands are accessable, with possibly other tunnels leading who knows where.

I didn't give him directions. I was just saying that the directions Iso gave were usefull.

You still didn't act like a complete jerk about it. Although, as I said, I shouldn't expect more coming from you. You act like a jerk to everyone that posts anything.

You're the one that time, and time again, completely skips things people post. So it's no suprise here you'd post something like "It'll help him in Nyzul!" despite the fact thats theres no reason for it to if he's using FFXI Atlas =/

No, I read all of the posts. I didn't see the need to help him with the other directions as you already had doen that. I did, however, think you acted uneccesarily rude to Iso about it. That's why I said "it'll help him in Nyzul".

And watch and behold, instead of just skipping that post, you have to jump head-on and tell me how uneccesary his help was, and how unusefull and uneccesary it was of me to say that it'd help in Nyzul Isle.

You always do that, Skaw. You can't ignore things. It's impossible for you. If ANYONE posts ANYTHING conflicting your own information, you HAVE to jump ahead and act like a rude jerk to them. Seriously, stop it Skaw. You make yourself look like an ass time and time again.

Anyway, let's just drop it. There's no need to derail a thread just because you think it's fun to constantly act like a jerk.

How would posting how to get to the Remnants conflict with my information? Wouldn't it supplement it?
