Level 50-ish party in the Crawler's Nest:
We were in the rumble crawler / helm beetle tunnel area. There were 3 parties there. The spawns were coming few and far between so one party warped out leaving 2 parties.
I was sam/rng and had a bow with a long delay. The other party with Prage and Quesoi were posting 2 pullers both with Provoke. I had no idea this would turn out to be as competetive as NM hunting. So our paladin had to pull for us because we had no beetles for minutes at a time. He had to voke-pull just to get a mob to xp with.
Then we hear our paladin griping. We asked "?". He said they pulled one
then pulled another and slept it. It wasn't a case of pop or link. It was a greedy act. Then after awhile they called for help.
Our paladin jumped in to help right away. I said "F them" but did jump in
to help just the same. Our entire party jumped in. They were keeping their 2nd beetle slept while two parties killed one of them. The problem was the one we were on had such high evasion that all 11 or 12 of us kept missing it.
****here is where it gets a tad fuzzy for me****
My party says "Duff" "Duff we need you, where are you." I look around and I am the only one still helping the greedy party. I find our party trying to kill a pop/link. So I default to helping my party. Then a crap-load of beetles pop. We have about 4 now. 2 members die, one warps, I sneak/invis and boogy out. Quesoi(from greedy party) follows me about 5 paces behind.
I had sneak/invis, Quesoi didn't. He/she (mithra, dunno) trains everything
to the zone. All crawlers for sure, dunno what else came with. Then tries to blame me for the train (i'm Waaay ahead by the way and invis'd sneaked) by doing "/em slap Duffman." I shouted "Slap yourself, you caused the train."
This went on to a /tell fight containing many "F" words from both of us.
Quesoi blames our party for not helping fast enough and complains because we didn't finish helping. I replied with "your party was so F--- greedy that the other 2 parties in the zone can't xp. You all caused this and got what you deserved." KARMA is real. I'm now a believer.
..............and people wonder why there is an explosion of beastmasters on the server.............
Kudos to our paladin. Nobody in our party wanted to help. I didn't either. I normally do whenever I see help needed. These guys >< arghh. Our pally jumped in so we did. Later he told us that he wished he didn't try. Quesoi was apparently /tell fighting with most of us after comparing notes.

The ironic thing about all this: I had about 50-60 names on my /blist. I had removed all of them about an hour before trying to give second chances. Take a guess who just went on the list now? (only name there)
