how much step accuracy does it actually add?

or does it add a percentage?

i want to know if i should use these, or enkidu's mittens

idk it seems pointless to macro in for steps, your doing a step every 10 secs so that seems rather ridiculous

and there WILL be melee hits going off even if you do macro step gear in, its gonna happen so accuracy for those regular hits is also important

however if the AF step boost is semi decent i may tp in them over enkidu

thoughts?

anyone with solid numbers or atleast a good guess as to how much? i havent been able to tell by eyeballing it and my parser doesnt work

I'm not sure about the numbers, ideally, but if your macro books and inventory allows it, you can always build a quick and dirty macro to swap and blink out the step.

/equip AF hands
/ja Step
/wait 1
/equip TP hands

I use a similar one on beast to be able to blink out Fighting and the like. You'll literally only have them equipped for a second, so it shouldn't interfere too terribly with your melee hits.

I apologize if this is redundant information, just repeating it in case anyone didn't know. I was pleased as pie to be able to use that for BST.

I hate to say it Dawnn, but I notice a difference when not using the AF hands. I macro mine in just for steps, as well as relic feet. Yes, it does turn out to be a ton of blinking, but it's worth it.

the blinking is terrible imo :/

id rather just pick acc whore gear and stick with it

but as dnc main, and soloing for long periods of time, i can say that i really havent had problems landing steps on stuff, speaking from af hands vs enkidu's mittens difference

maybe if i did more endgame id use the af hands but still its blah i hate blinking that often

Ya, if you're just soloing stuff then might as well either stick with enkidu or get a pair of dusk gloves since you won't need the step acc. If you do endgame stuff you need as much step acc as you can get.

Also if you hate blinking that much, use blinkmenot if you play on PC. But welcome to dnc, I swap almost whole sets of gear for most of my macros in order to get the most benefit out of em. If you don't want to get the most out of something, then don't bother.
