if i toss my rajas now is it true that i cant pick up a tamas until 27 days have passed?

Taken straight from wiki. Seems to me you don't wait if its the first time tossing it.

just did this, tossed rajas and went to marble bridge and got my tamas the first time you dont have to wait, but the second time you do

There's no wait the first time you toss. I don't know (especially given SE's penchant for grammatical and specificity errors in their update notes) whether the 27 day wait for a second+ toss, starts counting the 27 days from a. the time you tossed the new ring or b. the time you got the new ring.

Easy (if tedious) way to test: get a new ring (no wait). Wait about, I dunno, 10 days or so. Toss it. See if you can get another new ring in 17 days (27 days after getting the ring) or 27 days (27 days after tossing the ring), after that.

Really, a better test would be

1) Get a new ring
2) Wait 27 days
3) Toss and try

If as seems more likely, the wait has to do with repeating the quest rather than tossing the ring, you won't be out a ring for any time at all.

It's 27 days from when you toss the new ring, not when you got it originally. I know from experience >> Originally tossed my rajas to try out tamas on my RDM, 2 days later ended up tossing tamas to get rajas back, and had to wait 27 days as opposed to 25.
