Question about Dragoon Job

Hello! I've yet to unlock the job yet but I'm interested to try, however, I'm unsure of these few things =(

I know that Calling a Wyvern out is a 2-hour ability, I was wondering say I'm levelling outside Bastok, with my Wyvern out, then I suddenly need to go into Bastok and then into the Zehrun Mines, would I still have my Wyvern inside the mines, or would I need to wait 2 hours again before I can summon it in the mines?

The same question applies when zoning into town, then zoning out another area, or going to Selbina and riding a boat to Mhuara, and when I get out of Mhuara, would I still have my pet?

Make sure before you ever go on a ship or enter a city, your wyvern is at full health. The best way to make sure is to heal your wyvern fully before going in a city, and using the dismiss command. If you dismiss your wyvern with full HP, you can re-call him again whenever you want.

Oh cool! So it "resets" the 2-hour skill? 8)

Yes, if you dismiss your wyvern while it's at full health, your 2hour goes to no cooldown. If it's not at full, though, you need to wait until the cooldown is over.

Ah great. Thanks for filling me in, I was beginning to think that DRG might be very hard if I lose my Wyvern everytime I go back and forth towns. Now I'll just need to get some help from my linkshell and unlock the job! Thanks again ^^

actualy, from what ive found, you'll only "loose" your dragon if you change jobs, or logout while in the city. So you can be lvling, walk into town, grab somthing from the AH, and zone out with your dragon still there.
