Question about Gil

Is really easy to make gil, is just are you willing to work for it.

-You can sell pretty common everyday item from random drops from random monster you solo, such as birdy outside whitegate, they drop beak worth of 250G each, and feather around 100gish, instead of tossing them, sell them to NPC or go to jeuno -> AH (Whitegate tax = fuck you)

-while you get exp maybe for your lv.75 for a little buff, you can roughly make around 3k in 30minute~1hr depends if you're thf or not, then just repeat the step for like 10 more hour, you'll get yourself 30k lol

-Or go to Castle Oztroja, Fight NIN type yagudo, some of their spell is pretty good around 1k~20k if drop.

-Crafting isn't a thing anymore, if you HQ shit that is tier0, you'll never able to sell since no one/barely anyone buy gil anymore, either it'll take forever to sell it or it'll never see, see Sanoake HQ Errant cape for example, he still bazaaring it atm at 20mil. only way to sell it is from bargaining price like 5mil XD

-Only crafting i see profitable is Alchemy making oils and powder since almost all non-mage need them, and only way to make decent profit is to farming the materials.

-Other profitable craft item is from thoe everyday use item, Rare item/gear = won't sell

-BCNM/KSNM of course is also way to make money, but is all base on luck, and most common rule is your orb your loot, this method is basicly getting lucky on your orb, if many valuable item drop, you're rich, if your orb fail you with common drops (usually worth <5k each), thats too bad. The other way is split loot... Everyone get a equal shares of the loots, so if we all get common drop, then we'll all be broke, if 1 of us get a good drop item, then we all be rich and get a equal share, won't be as much rewarding as your orb your loot, but everyone getting out with something and everyone happy instead of some are jealous some are rich.

-Be a sponsor in your Dynamis LS, if you dynamis LS is good, and alway obtain around 150~250 coins (depends on what kind of coins i guess), you can make profit from it. But is a huge gamble, if your LS sucks, you lose hell alot of money, this way also is a cheap way to upgrade your relic

-Win 100cc lot from dynamis, either your sponsor will buy it from you, or 100cc is yours to keep to sell it

-Go limbus, spend 30k for soap, hope you get 4+ Anci. Coins every run, you can sell them for 10k each and people will buy for this price, you just make 10k+ profit from it if sell.

-Camp NM, hope you claim it, and will drop for you, there is still some NM out there drop a valuable that is sellable

-Sleep with Myrrh, and you'll guarantee to at least 5,000G This is a joke btw >.>

As many have said, the way to go isn't on big items, but on smaller common items. Just find something that drops fast and sells fast.

I made all of my money back in 05 when everything hit the roof. Underbuying @ BD and selling at or above price on AH for a profit. Made a killing on it, but as the saying goes to do that. "You've got to have money to make money."

Disclaimer: Also lead a decently successful sky shell back when sky farming was hella money and V.claws sold for 16-20m.

V.Claw didn't sell for 16-20mil lol highest peek was around 7mil-9mil then slowly back down after STF start kicking RMT's balls.

SH - 7mil~9.2mil

SH +1 - 15mil~21mil

that was the day :P

Some people sat on gil when they "quit", and just recently came back to an economy with lower prices.

Years ago, I sold a pair of Spiked Finger Gauntlets for 4.5m. Quit soon after, and when I came back that gil lasted me a whole year. Never had to farm for anything. It was beautiful. I wish I had stockpiled more.

I'm sorry but no, Jonosapi was selling SH+1 for 30m, it was the beginning and the peek of the balsak era. Claws went 16-17m usually, at their highest peek it was 20m for a claw.

Jonosapi always sell stuff at super high price lol, i'm sure i never saw claws up to 20mil, highest i saw was 7mil~10mil

lol i remember selling a Vermy for 17 mil back in the day... that was awesome... NQing a Vermy and getting 2-3 mil profit on it.

V.Claws were definitely up to at least 18m because that's how much SH were selling at after that huge Christmas inflation. They were always basically the same price.

then apparently you dont look very often and you missed like 3 months of 16-20m

See my sig. That's how you ball out.

But yea, I tend to sit on my gil a lot. However, lately there's nothing I want, but really no point to keep all my gil around either. So I've bought a few silly things (ala Strider Boots for my lvl 20 RNG)

Hush it, you're a retard, trying to sell Wopa a Mahat cape when he has one.

I remember back during the XMas inflation, Silk Thread -> Cloth was 20-30k/stack profit. Was easy to make 300k+ in an hour if you just felt like sitting around and chatting with friends/LS while you synthed.

Beyond that, it's like how many people have said...there's a few simple things that sell fast for a decent amount of gil. Many of the ToAU beastmen drops can sell for up to 5k gil, which isn't bad at all considering how quickly it can add up. Theres also a few ENM items worth a good bit and actually drop fairly often as well.

Why anyone would voluntarily subject themselves to interaction with Wopa is beyond me. Unless he's much different in-game than on forums (not unheard of).

You're the retard. I know he has one. I tried to trade him the Cape for a pair of Gaiters, figured one of the LS WHMs could use it.

Hauberk +1 for 40mil during the climax.

Nowadays...

Bugard Leather - Easily skilled Leather to lv25, synthed and sold many, many stacks. Bought Dusk Gloves.

Mistletoe - Farmed for a few days straight. Bought Dusk Trousers and Ledelsens.

Angel Skin - Been farming these forever. Back when you could still pull them up at Terrigan. Recently my luck has been utterly amazing, around 15 skins in the past two months.

Phantom Worm - Recently this little gem has been nearly untouched. Easy profit while waiting on Devil manta repop. Easy to duo, I kill it with a level 44 WHM and level 75 THF.

I've had shit for luck with ENM, BCNM, and KSNM. One Serket ring from over five trips. Always get Martial'd on Brothers, always get scroll'd on Uninvited Guests, and I've never seen a PCC drop from over five trips.

Oh and over 300 seals blown on Up in Arms...plenty more to go until we get our club back. Instead of spamming Under Observation, we farmed a PCA for my friend's future kraken DRK and one for my THF and RNG. Planning to do the same thing with Speed belts, triple boxing KA looks fun.

Think I have like 13 mil left, been a while since I loged on. (and spent 500 mil or more on excalibur, could be more or less, coins whet from 5k to 35k, back to 20k before I finished). Half or less of that was from alchamy crafting, 45% came purly from mining (and using most every other craft to increase profit). Rest from random stuff.

Main factor in making gil, is find something you enjoy. And don't spend on "luxery" items that add minimal gain to your job. like Vermillion cloak will not help any job much as all.

And 2 ways to make gil:
1. Get lucky, craft a vary hard +1.
2. Spend time, mining, crafting, fishing, playing AH, quests, IPNM... etc

Could buy gil, but then you get shuned if others found, or banned now (thay banning buyers now right?)

And a certain someone kicked you from a certain ls!

Oh shi..

:omg::omg:

You're so silly taru.

It wasn't so much a kick as it was a refusal to pearl me to the 3rd or 4th ls of his since I've been on the server as long as I carried my Wopacompany pearl.
