I have some friends who want to come to this server,is that possible?
They have accounts on a different server. Is there a way you can change the server you are in? Please let me know,thanks!
 
You can change the server you're on with a World Pass, but you have to start all over again.
 
with a world pass, they can make new characters on this server. They cannot, however, import their characters from one server to another.
 
Then how did Cleofis go on Pheonix?
Start all over? that must suck...
But seriously,there is no way you can change?I mean,is it a fact?or just what u think?
I am tempted to GM call and ask,but...lol idk if that would be a good idea...
 
It's fact. Except during specific SE Emigration events, which are very rare, characters CANNOT be transferred between servers at the moment.
 
You don't need to delete yor char to go to a diff server you just need to make a new play ID then after entering your name type the name of the server and then the world pass. and that should get the, on the server but yeah they will be lvl 1, rank 1.

Name: <something>
World: <type the name of the server>
World pass: <Type the world pass>

Its that easy
 
i've heard rumors of a "server migration" around-about the time of the Xbox360 release of this game, where-in you may select to relocate your character to a new server.
just a rumor as far as i know.
 
Yea Twille Ive heard the same thing, and if people noticed there was mention from SE reps in an interview that talked about a system being created for player migrating to other servers if you wish. No news on what it would cost the player to do it so people wouldn't be doing it whenever they felt like.

ya, the way i heard it is that a 'reasonable' fee would be charged to change servers, and that you can change servers no more than ONCE per 3 or possibly 6 month period.

time will tell
 
Surely people would save up enough gil for some items they wanted, find a server cheaper than theres and switch then switch back. Maybe if it was 1million or more to change that would stop such a thing?
