Question about world pass

A friend of mine from work is on the Hades Server Im on Quetzalcoatl. I know when you make a 2nd character that it automatically goes to the same server as your others. If I gave him a WP for our server could he have a 2nd character on our server?

I guess there only 1 way to find out... Buy the world pass if it doesn't work Im SOL... I'll make sure to get back and let everyone know if it works... He said if he just started he'd switch servers but he has a Lvl 75 Dragoon and doesn't want to switch servers and lose it

My little brother is getting the game for christmas and I'd like him to be on Quetzalcoatl with us. So, my questions are: how long is a WP valid for? Should I get him one now or wait till he's installing the game to make sure it's still going to work for him? Am I correct in thinking I can get him one at one of the consulate buildings in Sandy?

A world pass is valid for one week and can be used five times. A gold world pass is also valid for one week but can only be used once for the first character in an account. Both can be bought for 2000 gil from Ambleon next to the residential area in Port San d'Oria.

And when you make a new character, it doesn't automatically go to the same world as your first character, it only goes there if you specify it to (you don't need a world pass). So you can still create a character on another world if you so wanted.

You can...I know a few people who have characters on multiple servers. When you get to server, write it in and then put in the world pass

Yeah I have my main on Quezy but I have one character on Valefor as well.
