i just bought a 360 and i had ffxi on my pc how do i transfer my charcter this is a stupid question do i just put my pol id in to my 360 please help lol

Be sure to log/register with the character you want to spend your days in 360 with. Your Gamertag is bound with only one PoL account (1 character and mules). ; ;

What I accidently did when I got a 360 was make a gamertag and bounded it with the first gamer tag I made on my other character to update downloads while I was still playing on my main on my laptop, and this is when I realized you couldn't switch afterwards.

So I just made another gamertag for my main character which will have the Xbox gold if I decide to get that after trial, while my other char will just remain on a free xbox live account.

FYI your account doesn't need to be Gold to play FFXI. You can play FFXI on a Silver account as well.

The binding of POL account to gamertag is completely lame. PS2 and PC don't have anything like this. What is XBOX's reason for involving themselves in what seems to be an additional level of security over the other 2 platforms. They should have nothing to do with it.

Also, does anyone know a way around this?
I would like to play someone else's account dual boxed if possible, but their account is already linked to their gamertag. I pull them up on PS2 and it's not a problem. Completely lame. Fucking Microsoft.

Sneak u need the hotmail+password of the person who is lending you the PoL account. To log with his LIVE account then to PoL to play his character.

Bah, while I'm sure this is possible, my friend also plays his XBOX.
I may just finally go get a PC copy this weekend, lol.

Yes you do. First you need to accomplish whatever achievement you want to unlock and then go to a title changing bard to unlock them. An example was getting lvl 75 thf achievement unlocked after talking to bard. All of FFXI achievements are secret to you have to look online to find them.
