moral of the story: bst's should just quit trying to low man NM's that others want to kill, because this servers not putting on its careface for it.

The idea about coming on here and "crying" about it has a particular aim, which isn't as effective here as much as in other cases because a) Happy Angel is primarily JP and b) They would steal from anyone; but the idea is that if people are made aware of others exploiting a glitch and it creates enough disdain in the community for that action that it dissuades others from doing it out of possible exclusion from the ffxi server community for going against established codes of conduct. Its worked in the past, probably isn't going to help here but its more than just whining.

Whatever, we all know community standards are for shit, especially when it means you can hear a thwack 2-3 times instead of once or so you can kill HNM faster so you can go back to ...idk...standing around in Whitegate? All I can think of as I type this random aside is historical materialism.

The MPK LS referred to is the one in my story that claimed after my duo initially wiped. The name of that LS was WipeTooFast or whatever, (I remembered after seeing the ls mentioned in another flame). That ls in this instance acted honourably. They took claim when my duo partner and I died, they could have stolen at several points, but didn't (might have figured we'd wipe). After they wiped and we wiped again (see initial post for time-line)there was a long period where we rested, unweakened status, buffed and prepared for our final assault. HappyAngel members were standing there watching this whole time and could have claimed fairly whenever they wanted, the mob was unclaimed for a good 15 minutes. However, they chose to wait until we widdled it down to a sliver of life and then stole it from us. Thats why they are Scum bags, which has clearly been reinforced by the posts from the other members of their ls in this thread so far.

No point in really continuing this, HappyAngel has been accused of being thieves and scumbags, their retort has been basically "yeah, so what?" Well, eh, I have nothing further to add to that.
 
Meh...I was there on RDM/BST, during the steal I was recasting debuffs on Vivian while she wailed on me (managed to stick Slow II, start casting Paralyze II but spell never went off because the mob is suddenly claimed)

Vivian beat on me for a good minute before they even got hate off me, wasn't all that fun. Asbel bragged about some "claim trick", Liddell and another JP (name escapes me, another HA member) mentioned calling GM after the kill but not sure for what reason.

No ring according to the members I talked with. Sucks that this happened but can't at all say I'm really surprised.

In regards to the "MPK" - I was out grabbing a Korrigan when this stunt happened, but from what I heard during that time some black LS aggroed Vivian and pulled it to the tunnel and died, and then it aggroed Flock but they group managed to zone in the end.

In regards to "wiping to the 2hour" - Yeah, when I was there Flock wiped to Meikyo Shisui. That, however, is completely irrelevant to the situation since Flock raised up and retried roughly ten minutes later, and it was during that attempt that the theft occurred. During the time of theft none of the members were dead, or even in the yellow (with the exception of myself, who was debuffing/minor hate-tooling to prevent unclaim bullcrap which ended with all irony)


Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, I'm sleepy. And honestly, I requested a FB of this not be made, because it really isn't worth bringing up. =/

Yeah, thats part of the problem. Mish was casting stuff on it, we had pets fighting and still they were able to steal it. Like I said in op I never even saw it blink yellow, so I don't know if they have some spooky hack program or if it just didn't flash yellow on my screen due to lag or something. Either way, we didn't wipe, we didnt even get hit, we were killing the mob like a bst party would in a zone full of pets. Just stand back and let the pets do the work.

On the other hand HA is a shell run by a known hacker, who has other hackers in it, and does nothing but camp monsters that you need claiming means on... you figure out what happened...

xeno.. im sorry man.. this game is fun but when people decide to to be jerks on it like these guys did, it kinda takes the fun out of it.

not much you can do but i do understand why you made the flame.. inform rational, intelligent people of these losers.

anyway, good luck next time.. and dont listen to people who say ' if you dont want it stolen, dont come bst'

these people just dont understand how fun as hell bst is... and at least IMO, i think if you're a bst, you should fight monsters as bst as much as you can... and then when you get to your NM and others are there, you can see people's true colors when it comes to repect on the game. if they're truly a classy player.. you'll know... if they're not.. then you'll get another example of some cool dudes in happyangel or whatever the hell these 'cool guys' are called.

i like to think everyone is a good person deep down and yea it's just a game.. but unfortunately there will always be people out there like this.. just gotta keep on walkin that road baby~

If you see a shell with a good amount of E M A bodys and Ridills, guess what, they hack!

I suggest your Shell try the same because until you kids start claiming more your shell will die out just like ALL the rest of the new "Trying to be honest" Hnm shells. Don't come back arguing like it won't either, we have seen it all time and time again.

Also you're a god damn moron if you think no one in your shell has a bot...With competitive endgamers I am sure 1 in 6 at least have a claimbot program or so, it's just some of them tweak them better than others.

On the flipside alot of endgamers think anyone that doesn't have a Ridill or even trys for one is pathetic. In a perfect world all of the hardcore gamers would be on the same server where we could fight it out to be the best, while social gamers picked flowers and hung out with fuckin Pikko and her pots all day. Who's side is right?

But when social gamers try to make it look like endgamers are too hardcore or have no lives well then I have to defend hardcore players rights too. I'm not stressed I just tire of people acting like someone with better gear bots or has no life. :wink:
