Okay, my Blu is currently 63(and I have spells up to 69) and I'm a little confused as to what back piece I should be using. At the moment I am using a Beak Mantle with 4acc and 1 Str but I'm told from many different people that I should be using Amemet Mantle+1.

Now, what has me confused is that the att from Amemet doesn't really seem to interest me as much as the Acc from my Beak Mantle. It seems like Blu can't get enough Acc so getting it on anything seems to be good.

What are your thoughts other Blus? Does that 15 Att really make it much better then my Mantle?

acc be better for your new multi hit spells definitely didn't exp much when i got 63 on blu but acc was my best friend with frenetic rip. only helps more when you get 69 and 72

I would guess it depends on your subjob for in exp. I know on bird camp 60+ my blu friends were /thf and did sa/ta death scissors for over 1.4k They would focus on str gear for that. The real truth teller would be if you feel you need the accuracy more than the attack. If you miss, use more acc, if you hit just fine use att.

It's dependent on your acc. if you're soloing you should go for stat+ more aka smilodon+1 during spells since your acc would already be high.
If you're doing a multihit spell in an exp pt then the acc, if tping then it's a tossup between amememit and the acc mantle but probably use the acc mantle.

It depends too on how much you gear swap. Am. Mantle+1 is there to tp in. Remember, your sword dot should still be close to 1/3 your total dmg in parties, since you shouldn't be spamming spells in them. Once you hit, what, 65, you should be swapping in Smilodon Mantle+1 for your physical spells.

Acc is very easy to find for BLU, even before you hit your 70's. If you have the gil, PCC is there (I used Chiv Chain myself). Scorp Harness is an easy buy, and some variation on rings. Course, I also used sushi for food, which helped me with any acc issues I would've otherwise run across.

That augmented beak mantle you have is pretty sweet, although I'd be hard pressed to give you a definite opinion without knowing what the rest of you gear is like. What I can tell you is what I myself was wearing at the time:

Weapons: Musketeer Commander's Falchion x2
Ammo: Tiphia Sting
Head: Empress Hairpin
Neck: Chiv Chain
Earrings: Spike Earrings
Body: SH
Hands: Jaridah Bazubands
Rings: Ecphoria/Rajas
Back: Amemet +1
Waist: Potent Belt (or swift if you have it)
Legs: Magus Shalwar (couldnt find anything better)
Feet: Marine M Boots (N/A to you since ur mithra)

Now with this set up I really wasnt missing all that much, and getting even better numbers with sushi (or marinara pizza, depends what ur fighting). A decent alternative to the marine boots would be the jaridah nails since they give a little extra acc. As a mithra tho, you shouldnt really be missing much either. Meet me up tonight, or send me a PM with your gear and ill do my best to help you out.
