I've noticed several pup's subbing NIN, and I'd like to know why. Admittedly, my understanding of PUP is really limited, but from what I understand, they're basically weak monks with a pet.
If that's the case, what could /nin possibly provide to the job? Subbing NIN weakens monk, but it can increase their survivability because they generate so much hate. PUP's on the other hand, have C skill in hand to hand, so there's no way they're pulling hate on their own, so the sole benefit from /NIN would never be needed.
Can someone who's leveled the job explain why they're subbing something that I can't see any benefit to subbing? Is there something I'm missing, or are they all caught up in the /NIN craze?
