Alright i'm chillin waiting on ship for new area and we get hit by a storm, power goes out no biggy right shit happens. I go to log in to pol and my computer restarts why?

anywho i wait and try again ofter computer restarts a few time on me and get in pol YAY! but now my Computer won't stop restarting on me can any one help me or tell me why my computer is doing this?

If that's the case and it got to your computer, it's probably the cause of your computer restarting itself

This happened to me once, but the problem I was having is that my computer wouldn't start up. Could be that too thoguh.

Probably indefinatly until you fix whatever the problem is

If your PC restarts as soon as you touch the net - virus
If your PC restarts as soon as you launch Pol the sudden loss of power
could have cause pol to crash unusualy hard and may have significanly
damaged the Pol program, uninstall and reinstall to fix.
If your PC just siting there not touching anything just restarts, could
be fried ram or some other internal component.
One thing to check, load some other high graphics demanding game, if your
computer restarts uninstall and reinstall your video card and update the
drivers, if it does it again the video card itself might have gotten zapped.

I worked for 2 yrs at a computer company trouble shooting PC problems,
this is the best I could sugest without knowing more.

Kicking it always fixed my old compaq, no joke either... It was such a piece of shit I threw it out my first story window one time, needless to say it worked without problems after that. They have feeling's to, what people say about AI having no feelings is wrong.

But I finally dumped it and bought a 2k computer, so even if it doesnt work here and there, I wont be throwing this out a window ^^

Ok update i shut down my computer for some hrs now i'm going to starte up pol FFXI if computer restartes I need Real Help please
