Question

Not any work of art here yet, I'm just wondering if anyone can help me make a picture.

I want to take Leonidas' famous "THIS IS SPARTA!" face and put it onto my head football coach's face in our team picture. I can get the face cut and everything but when I paste it onto the picture I want I get half of the white backround with it. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hmm... are you trying to use magic wand tool to remove it, or did you trace around the face with the eraser?

That problem sounds like nothing I have known happen unless not everything happened to be erased around the face.

Hm, if you're using PhotoShop your best bet is to get rid of as much of the background picture as you can so there is mainly the head and not much left of the rest. After that just get rid of the rest of the background that is still there and you should have a nice, clean-cut head. ^_^

would be the same for Fireworks. My recommendation is to just use the Eraser with a soft edge for around the face. Erase everything around the face.
