a friend of mine (and myself) are wondering, if we reactivated our account today would we REALLY have to pay for these last two days in march and then again in april? XD Cause that's really lame if so (I've forgotten how EXACTLY SE bills)

From what I remember, you pay for the whole month, even thu theres only 2 days left and again for next month.

Kanash is correct. The only time they'll adjust the monthly payment is when your trial month runs out. Just wait two days before reactivating.

I never said they were stupid I think the billing system just sucks for players. Besides, I'm only reactivating cause a lot of my friends are gonna play again (one is XD) so gonna play with em

Edit: I have another question... is the billing on Japan time? So that if you say... started up toward the end of Monday (when it'd be Tuesday in Japan and April 1st) would they charge for April or March? Since it'll still be March in the US or will it be charged as April since it'll be April in Japan?

They charge me the 2nd day of every month. I believe our billing takes place from the NAHQ in California.

Thats what I would do, just to be safe. Most likely the servers for activation/registration will be down in the morning sometime so Wednesday evening would be your best bet.

reading POL they say they bill in the 1st of a month and they base it on the activity of the current month or if you've activated/whatnot the month before and basically things I'm not entirely sure XD here I'll show you

Service fees are due on the first day of the month, and are calculated based on your service status on the last day of the previous month. A breakdown of the monthly fee is as follows:
- Service fees for the current month (pre-billing for services until the last day of the current month).
- Service fees for the first month of service, if the previous month was the first month in which said fees were incurred (calculated at a daily rate).
- Content ID fees for the previous month, if said Content IDs were purchased or reactivated during the previous month.

Say you reactivate two content IDs on the 15th. You don't get billed yet, but it costs $14. You then decide to transfer servers on the 20th, an unbilled $25. The first of the month rolls around, and you pay for the upcoming month ($14). You'll be billed for $53 on the first.

Pretty sure that's how it works.
