maybe i'll meet jzp and crew in vegas and get some ideas. I was thinking about dropping it and getting 18' harts, but I dont like to attract punk kids and thier super trooper rice boi civics (which is why i decided on the factory rims)

Don't underestamate FWD i build 500WHP and more 1.6L and 1.8L engines.

thats a bad ass engine in that small ass car. GN motors can smoke most v8's stock and when built up, can smoke just about anything

Just found out what my dad is planning for his last big hot rod endeavor. And I must say it will be absolutely insane....

Base will be a 73 Beetle... which we fixed up for my older sister bout 10 years ago but never ended up driving it because she didnt get her license or even learn stick -_-.

2 Offenhauser Aluminum V-8's.... one in front, one in the rear. He's planning on using a Audi Quattro 4 wheel drive system. I'm not sure about much else, because its still on the drawing board(although we already have 1 Offy, and managed to track down another).... and being such a complicated build.... its gonna be a while, with most things being find out as you go.

So... it's going to be a 1800lb car(each V-8 weighs about 260lb... which is less than the original pancake 4)... with approx. 600hp.

I'm pretty sure this car, when finished, will be the death of me >_>
 
i own two cars... 97 Civic w/a fully built naturally aspirated 2.0L motor that i spent about $15,000 on that uses only 100+ octane. and the other is a 2000 BMW 528i... that is all.

WHaaaaa? You crazy dude.

Go for the CAM2 racing fuel.... or is that what you're using? 6 bucks/gallon 4TW?
 
hahaha... yes, $6 a gallon... shit used to be a daily driver, but fuck that... just drive the beemer everywhere now... i remember when the motor was first built... i was using regular gas 91-92 octane, bitch blew up a few days later... had to pay an extra $5,000 to get it rebuilt... BLEH...
