Among all the servers is this the best/most populated?

Are there a lot of English speaking players?

Where is this server stationed? US: East/central/west?
 
This is not one of the most populated servers, there's a lot of English speaking players, all servers are housed in japan.

Why does everyone ask if there are a lot of English speaking players on this server, are there actually entirely-Japanese servers out there?
 
I just started playing and I just chose a random server(Bahamut) ALOT of people that don't speak english played it so i got really pissed off.

Anyways do you think this server is better than the rest? Since characters can't transfer I want to be sure that i'm on one of the best servers
 
Best is completely subjective, we'd say we were the best, Bahamut would say they are the best. Most of the servers are about the same.

I do want to play with a lot of people though... Knowing that quetz is low pop, I just dont know now
 
Its not that low. A constant, steady stream of about 1500-2000 people online.
 
It's low compared to the high population servers which see around 4,000 constantly, Quetz usually has at least 2,000 on.
 
yeah, Quetz is in the lower half of severs for population, which is also why our Gilseller problem isnt as bad. Some servers see GS killing nidhoggs, Tiamats, ect.

marajade make a good point are server has a low rmt problem compared to most and the split between english and jp are about the same. Depending at what time you play you will see more of one or the other.

we have the 8th least population, one the biggest economy (surprisingly), however we don't have as many transaction as others because lot people bazaar stuff or just npc it.

Meh tons of players is overrated. I mean what? there are 4000 more people? Great i'd bet at least half are dicks.

To be honest i wouldn't worry that much as most servers are as good as the others i would imagine. Although i think quetz has an advantage due to qcdn.

Oh and if you're new just to save you some time, begging is punishable by death. Look at "Juiced you been warned" lmao.

You mean tell me we have ~ +1198 more mules then midgar! I don't think so. Most of are stuff are millions over other servers and to put them on the ah would be waste of money so we bazaar it. Others are not worth the time to sell so we npc them. It make since that the reason then haveing 1198 mules
