Let say healing staff,
for example, Quezty = 6mil (IF!)
Alexander = 2mil
Shiva = 5mil
Fenrir = 50mil
Almost all people who want to sell healing staff will go to Fenrir server and hope it can be sold, and there will be like 40 heal staff in stock for 50mil lol and none in stock in other server, but eventually, price will go down because of the few demand it had, but that not gonna be wayyyyyyyyyyyy later...
Hopping server = increase inflation
Hopping server that charge gil = decrease inflation
Shaunessy said:WHAT??? That makes no sense. Why would people go to expensive servers to buy items? The more places there are to get an item, the lower the prices are going to be. Sure, some of the cheapest servers are going to raise in prices a little bit, but the most expensive servers will also drop in prices. There would be no huge inflation across all boards if server hopping is allowed.
Vandoura said:Because almost everyone will want more gil out of the item they sell, no one want to place no healing staff for 5mil (let say) in our server, if you can sell 50mil on other server, people are greedy you need to know that lol
None would be selling though on that server for 50mil because not only sellers could sell on different servers, but the buyers would shop on other servers. Prices would largely equalize, but it would still be a hassle checking all the servers to find the best deal (which would likely save you at best 10%). Don't assume buyers are so stupid as too not check elsewhere.Vandoura said:Because almost everyone will want more gil out of the item they sell, no one want to place no healing staff for 5mil (let say) in our server, if you can sell 50mil on other server, people are greedy you need to know that lol
