Quick NPC question

My NPC is currently lvl 50, and i'm trying to think of a good place to exp her up to 55. What is sad is i dont really know where to take her...what mobs would give my NPC decent exp, but be soloable by a 75 PLD/NIN or PLD/RDM?

I know Cythe has done well in Kuftal Tunnel, you can try there.

Add the number from the chart for whatever your NPC's level is at the time and what you want to fight (VT-IT). So Lv50 NPC...fight Lv54-56+ mobs for VT-IT range.

Then go here and put in the levels you want and figure out the best place you think you should go:

Hmm, I was just putting together a little mini-guide on mobs that'd be IT to your NPC at all levels... was just making it for myself, but I guess I can paste it here in case anyone's interested:

I did Demons 30-45 in Xarcabard. Move up to the ridge that leads to Uleguerand at 40. 45-55 I did Uleguerand entrance. Rabbits, Tigers, Cwn Annwn, the occasional Snoll.

55-60, I'm in Boyahda. Moss Eaters, Mouriche, Robber Crabs, Knight Crawlers for now. Will move up to possibly the next set of rabbits the closer I get to 60.

However. I did 99% of my leveling solo. Grouping will cut the exp down for your NPCs. While they do gain exp based on their level and not yours, it is still divided by the amount of people in the group.

This is why I reached 55 faster than Cythe. Not based on days, based on calls. He actually got it physically before me because he completed the first level cap quest first.


The one thing you want to do, is avoid things with damaging area attacks as much as possible. If your NPC is healer, they do not put themselves before you, so it's not likely they'll cure themselves if you still need it.
