Quick Pokemon Question

Yes I do play Pokemon still >.> awesome game, stupid anime

anyways, I bought Pokemon Emerald recently, im wondering if this game only contains the newer pokemon or does it have the old ones too? I want to have my awesome team of NidoKing and NidoQueen again like in Pokemom Yellow but im not sure if they have them in Emerald.

If emerald is the newest version, i believe it does have the original 150.

and Nidoking did pwn j00, but i'd take Garados, Dragonite, or a pimped Mewtwo Over Nidoqueen.

Emerald does have some Pokemon from the Kanto region, but not all of them. From what they say, with Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald, Fire Red/Leaf Green, and Collosseum, you can have all 386 Pokemon. But, a few are exclusive to events, unless you get a trade.

And I just looked it up, and the Nido group aren't in Emerald. You'll have to trade from the Fire Red/Leaf Green, or Ruby/Sapphire if they're in there.

I liked the original Pokemon.... but the new Pokemon are3 just bit much. I mean come on.... how many can there be! 250..fine... 386... you've gone too far. There not Pokemon... it's Digimon 2.0!
