Quick Question: DRG Earring... Minuet Earring or Merman's Earring?

Well lv.62 atm, and just a quick question should i get Minuet Earring lv.62 Str+1 Dex+1 and minuet: Acc+3 or Merman Earring lv.63 AttacK+6 eva-4 magic damage -2%

i don't wanna spend on both earring, if i want to only get one, which one should i get?

You don't really need a merman's, a Spike is only 1 less attack, is much cheaper and you can use it in 60 caps.

If you have a brd, I'd go with the Minuet earring, otherwise dual +attack earrings would probably have a bigger effect.

I bounced off between Minuet and Merman for awhile, but ended up going with Assault Earring and Merman Earring. I'm currently trying to save up my Ancient coins for brutal but that won't be any time soon considering I'm about 25% there .

DRG itself has good accuracy with your normal gear excluding earrings, so for me personally I've found balance in the use of my accessories between attack and accuracy enough to the point I feel comfortable using meats over sushi and still do a pretty good job landing those hits. I'd say it's all what you think you need to focus on the most.

i was thinking Spike Earrin and Minuet Earring, so if no brd around i can use Spike Earring, and when there is BRD i can use Minuet Earring, since i'm very limited with inventory slot and MOG locker/safe/storage slot, i don't wanna buy too much, still doing CoP 3path atm so bunch of lv.50 gears on me and 3 lv.75 gear need to hold T.T

You can get the coral (NQ merman) earring which does the same as the spike earring for less. Spike = 40k, Coral = 10k.

People usually suggest Spike over Coral due to the level requirement... don't need to go and buy Spike Earrings for your DRG6x when you wanna do 60-cap areas.

But if level capped things arn't a concern, yea, Coral is the best option.

According to an old thread on allakhazam about WS modifiers :

Penta Thrust 0.75 1.00 2.25 5x STR_20%, DEX_20%

So personnally, I'd go with the Minuet seeing how it gives you +2 on WS.
20% mod. is not a big deal though... so both earrings are probably equivalent. It's down to what you prefer and also to what gear you're wearing. If you think you're lacking attack (weak dot) go for attack though.

+1 str and +1 dex would barely make a difference in your ws with those modifiers; it's only +0.4 total based off that earring, not +2. If nothing else, you could macro it in, but you're not likely to see a big change in numbers.

lanien beat me to it. The attack will do much more than anything else you can get untill you can get a Brutal which is when you take off Merman's. Ethereal is nice for soloing too.
