Quick question.

I fired up the game for the first time in a long time and I keep getting a critical failure when I select my character and he starts to get loaded into the game world. I've found the Playonline file check option but where is the file check option for the actual FFXI files. I have to be looking right over it.

check version is before you load your character.

Yeah I am obviously overlooking it then.

I click play, confirm that I accept the Rules, hit the select character button, and nada. I'll keep digging.

Sweet I just went into the install folder and removed the patch.ver file. It is running a file check now. Hopefully that fixes the problem.
