Does anyone know a quick way I can level up my dagger skills? I was considering using it for my big farming campaigne but I wanna be able to plow through the mobs quickly so I resorted to my iron sword. If i slapped it on my warrior what could I fight that wouldnt take 5 years or result in me deleveling again o_O

Hit things with your dagger :twisted:

Small things anway...With long rabbit ears and innocent eyes

Apparently I like being hit...Ask that goblin that hit me a lot tonight, it made my eyes bleed @_@

Anyhoo - just being goofy, Sabs needs sleep! -_- . z Z

Cheers!

I think you have only two solutions :
--> Find a mob that is higly overcon at your level and solo it. You will not cap your skill this way but it's an easy and quick way to raise your skill (I've done it at level 25-26 on worms in korroloka tunnels, raised my Gaxe skill from 40 to 80+ this way and gained nearly one level ... but took me something like 6 hours).
--> Try to recruit ppl for a "skill raising" PT. Best way, but finding ppl only for leveling a skill can be difficult.

Hope that help :wink: (been in the same mess with my WAR)

ive solo skilled weapons several times now, and i have found a method that works well and quickly untill about skill 130. after this, unless you are lv 70+ it is very difficult to level the skill alone.
what lv is your warrior?
heres the path i usually take.
skill 0 -> 40ish @ Yughott Grotto (fighters/cursers for the last 35 ->40)
skill 40ish -> 90ish @ Qufim on crabs and leeches.
skill 90ish -> 110ish @ kazham jungles on mandys & gobs
skill 110 -> 130ish @ Crawlers nest start on workers, move to soldiers or beetles. (nest can be soloed, but its better in a grp.)
or try the same range on the Goblins @ entrance of Gustav Tunnel.
after this i found i needed to move to somthing like knight crawlers or somthing like kuftal tunnel or the boyadha tree, and thats a skill up pt.
hope this is useful for ya'.

Thanks for that useful info; was interested in leveling up H2H for Raging Fists (Sl 100, sub MNK) for when I help people get Skulls/for the hell of it. I've never seen a Taru do Raging Fists, or even a normal clip of ANY race doing it... haha

i often party with a mithra monk named chunny, shadow of death --> raging fists brings a nice impaction, or whatever the lightning element is, cause we cast thunder and thunder 2 and get our bursts ^^ great for killing crabs

Raging Fists is awesome! I saw Pirogoeth use it a bunch of times when we were getting our RSE in Gusgen Mines (I had THF tools to open the chests I needed, but Piro still needed keys :P). Anyway, about skillups. I decided late into level 30 that I was stupid for not having my sword skill raised, so I bought a Mithran Scimitar (those are awesome, if a bit expensive at 45k) and set out killing. My sword skill was only 13 when I started, and after about an hour or so spent in Buburimu Penninsula, I brought it up to about 50 or so. Then I moved to Valkurm for awhile and raised it to ~70ish. From there, I got my friend Veteran to help me raise it the rest of the way. We went to Yuhtunga Jungle and took on gobbies and lizards until my skill capped at 85 (since I had leveled to 31 from all the soloing). Bonus: I got a slab of Elshimo Marble from one of the lizards we killed! Now if only that scroll of Teleport-Yhoat would sell....
