I'm surprised this thread hasn't been made yet.

Needless to say, any tactical shooter fan should be getting this in a little over a week. I know i am, and i'm getting my nice extra gun with it for having it preordered.

Anyone else, or should i say, how many others?

You know it, got mine preordered. M4 is back and will be my baby. We she totally hit up TH online. Me and my friend used to roll just us 2 on realistic and rape. I need to pick up a mic before then too D:
 
Maybe if you stopped your noobish pre-orders at gamestop and came in to my store once in awhile. I work about every day for pete's sake.

Mon/Wed: 4-9

Fri: 4-8

Sun: 2-9

This saturday only: 8-whenever our midnight release of brawl is done (not looking forward to working that night)

Its a pretty consistent schedule for me.
 
Ight, I'll be in on friday probably. And the only reason i have it at GStop is because I had like 10 bucks left over from some trade ins and put it towards that. They had a deal going where if you put all your trade ins towards 1 game you got a 20% bonus, so my 40 something bucks worth of games turned into 65 which payed off DW6 completely and part of R6.
 
I have been waiting for this game since I beat RB6V. It was obvious they would have a sequel. This will definitely be more fun then COD to me because we won't have to play all those retards just to level up. We can run a big 7 vs 7 with just people we know.

I am highly, unequivocally, and sexually aroused for this. Been trying to finish Elite rank on V1 so I'm caught up... there's a free gun for preordering?
 
Game crazy gets a free gun. Gamestop gets a free map. Both I think are unlockable by playing. The code just means you don't have to play through and earn them.
 
The far better store gets the far better unlockable, but Jereme is right. It just depends on where you preorder it that depends on the gift. The gift isn't exclusive though like the Army of Two preorder thing was.
 
Personally I would prefer all the maps before all the guns. Knowing every spot on the maps is key to winning more then the gun you are using.

I have a feeling these codes won't be like Army of 2 though and you will be able to exchange them. So most likely everyone will have both right away.
 
can't wait for this, but i also need the money...which i get on the 13th of this month so yeah...once i do i will get army of two and this HOPEFULLY or if not then DMC4 but the thing is game prices here seem to have gone up to $60 and its like wtf...but yeah this game looks the shit

Here I've been, waiting for weeks, anticipating today. I told the woman to cancel her TV plans and to occupy herself for March 13-16 while I settle into Vegas2. I probably should've checked official release dates...

So is it the 21st or the 20th that it's supposed to hit shelves? See an article stating 21st, but the guy at EB thought it was the 20th.
 
Gamestop has the ship date as March 18th which means it hits the shelves on the 19th. I have been talking to my gamestop and it should be there next wed to buy unless anything else is released between now and then to mess things up.
 
Release day is usually a day before it hits shelves, because the game has to be shipped to the store that is selling it.

Some stores (like mine probably, we did it for Army of Two) will be going to the airport to pick it up so they will have it the day it comes out, just a little later.

I loved DMC4 and all, but I loved it with a rental, the game doesn't have much added value even if you beat 3 difficulties.. and that just get's downright boring. As for Army of 2, I have heard mixed reviews, best bet: Save for R6V2! The first game didn't leave me disappointed at all (finally a game that actually has a good cover system!) and I know they're gonna double up on the fun in this one.

I've heard early reviews saying that Vegas2 is pretty much an expansion pack.

Not to knock it down, I loved Vegas and more of the same is fine by me. We'll have to see if they made any noticeable changes. In the preview we saw Jung rappel inverted with some rappel lock, and was peeking under the frame of a chandelier or some shit... that could be freakin cool. I'd like to have some weapon choice while rappelling; a lock that would enable you to pull out a sniper or assault rifle would be creamy awesome.

Aside from that, all I can think of that they could add is a grenade launcher, or the option for multiple weapon addons. Recoil stock + ACOG scope on a light machine gun, mmmmmmm.

  • a real laser sight?
  • thermal scanning (think heartbeat sensor)
  • advanced XP awards (marksman points for sniper shots, etc)
  • 2-10p co-op
  • "massively upgraded co-op"
Voice commands could be cool. "Jung, I changed my mind... shoot this piece of shit will you?"

I'mma be all over this like it's Alba's ass tonight.
 
2-10 coop, thats sexy. The sprint button is nice too. I hope they do something where you get more xp for completing a lvl with less people. Me and my friend would roll 2 player on live coop, but it was the same points as if you did it with 4 and to me its more of an accomplishment doing it with less people. Gonna pick this up tomorrow after school fo sho. We should get some QCDN co-op goin.
 
Well i picked it up from the airport tonight for my store, but i haven't gotten really far in to the game. Beat the first mission which was pretty fun. The second mission is even better. The ranking/xp system is really great. Different things get you different points for different categories.

Marksman/Assault/CQB.

CQB is by far the easiest with marksman being 2nd and Assault being a distant third (i've only done one thing for assault, and that is shooting a turret guy.)

The codes are all the same, so by tomorrow everyone should be able to unlock the assault rifle AND the level.

All in all a great game. Makes me wish i saved my old gamertag so i could get my R6:V things to do something.

I know me and Jereme will be playing this tomorrow. Anyone else interested?
