Note: You can auto load this and set your race/face in your init. Because of the way it was rewritten, you don't flash out when you set your face/race, so you'll have to change gear or something. On the upside, you no longer blink when items drop into your inventory and whatnot. Enjoy.

How do you use a .dll file? >_>
 
It's a Windower plugin. Throw it in the plugins folder, and add some lines to init.txt in the scripts folder to load it and turn on the settings you want.

Though I haven't played around with it, so it may be one of those things that shouldn't be activated until your character's actually loaded (and init.txt runs when you first get into FFXI, before picking a char).
 
Hmm ok. I'll stay away from it until someone can tell me what to do exactly lol xD
 
Another way to do it, is once you get into ffxi, go into console (insert key), and type: toggle plasticsurgeon
That should load it D:
 
its simple, just either have it load automatically or load it your self (as vil said, put the .dll file in your windower plugin folder), and to edit the .init thing, it will be so itll always load like that specific setting, and you wouldnt have to change it to get it like that

example: say im a hume and wanted to be taru, i edit the init file so when ever i load ff11 now, ill be a taru untill i decide to change it
 
Oh, it requires windower 3.3 ;/ I only have 2.6.

3.3 is only privately released for testing atm >_>

What ever happened to that program that had a little gui that would come up so you could do all the race converting yourself. I remember there was also a tab that would allow you to change the gear you were wearing as well to anything you wanted.

Please tell me that they made a new version of that. And if so, does anyone still have that bad boy?

Even lets you become a fomor! Blackmagik's thing references it though, because using that your your character will blink very often.
