I just recently got Raging Fists, but for some reason I can usually only get it to do from 100-200 dmg, regardless of whether I use boost, berserk, metakabobs, or anything. This is about the same damage as most of my other ws, so I'm wondering if anyone has any idea why I'd be doing less damage than most others with the legendary Raging Fists. Thank you.

What were you fighting?
What did it con to you?
How much ACC do you have?

Raging fists is a 5 hit WS, so if your acc is low, either b/c the mobs are too high, or you just don't have a lot of acc equipment/food, it will not do a lot.
 
Mostly I've been fighting crawlers and beetles in Crawler's Nest and Altepa. We try to keep it ITs, but I've done more damage against VTs and lower (obviously).

My char is a Mithra, so I always thought my ACC was decent enough, so I typically use meatkabobs. My AGI is 54+2 and I'm wearing a Jujit Gi as my only acc bonus...so maybe that would help. So it's simply that I'm overestimating my accuracy as a Mithra, and I should work on that?
 
Acc > Str > Atk for mnk if I'm not mistaken, atleast at those lvl's.
(And haste ofcourse...)
 
Generally speaking you want a little bit more accuracy, especially considering Raging Fists can be very innacurate. Watch your TP return after you use a weapon skill, and that will tell you what you are lacking. I highly doubt you are only doing 100-200 and landing every hit. I know when my monk was that level, raging fists would do anywhere from 200-540. Try using either Sushi, or use Sniper's Rings, you may notice a difference.
 
race only give you a edge it not enough to not wear acc gear. + i belive that it 3dex for every 1 acc?? so raw acc still better then dex

It's generally considered 2 Dex = 1 acc.

Yeah, there's no racial accuracy trait, but the higher dex of the mithra does give them a few points of accuracy over other races.

As far as your damage is concerned, I agree it's probably an accuracy problem. Depending on your gear or food, you should be doing more damage than that. In a 40-cap bcnm I usually do about 300-ish Raging Fists, with 3 h2h merits that let me actually use it there.
 
Having DBZ macros for all of your monk macros makes them work better, too.

I used to have a wizard of oz warp macro with "there's no place like homepoint" and emoted boot bumpage.
