Rainbow Six: Vegas

Now, I don't know how many of you are FPS fans.........but this game is by far the best FPS I have played in a very long time. I just can't get enough of it and after leaving Rainbow Six 3 because my clan fell apart and then I joined the Army giving me no time to join another... this game is where it is. I have more free time then ever now and I am a SSG in game. Since I've been playing the last few days I've hooked up with a few old clan mates and rivals from the great days of RS:3, and found a few servers that are great if you are from the US and want to play some Team Survival.

Yeah it looks bomb, never minded owning some people back in the day on RS on original XBOX. Hows it stack up vs gears? Im still having a bomb time playing that.

i played the demo, i just cant get into tom clancy games. I never got into any of them, feel bored with em...Dont know why.
but IMO it doesnt stack up to gears of war very well, at least what i played of it. GOW just pwns anything out right now

Gears is a third-person action shooter, and Rainbow is a first-person shooter. Entirely different games and gameplay. The campaigne on GoW does kick ass though. If I'm playing online I like to be able to play against more than just 4 people, and the realism that rainbow provides to me is just more fun. Fast ropes, rappel ropes, breaching charges, snake cams, c4 ... the list goes on and on. The only thing I like in the GoW multiplayer is the chainsaw. Rainbow is where it is.

Halo 3 was meant to come out on the 9th next month then they changed the date again i am so pissed off with that

I've been a fan of the R6 series for a while, GRAW was the shit. I've seen the commercials for Vegas but I haven't seen nor played it myself, but I imagine it will be an improvement over GRAW as every R6 game seems to be just a little better than the one before it.

I played the demo a while back and truly enjoyed it, even though I'd never touched a Rainbow Six game before. (Splinter Cell is the only Clancy series that interested me before.) I'll probably be picking up a copy next week. As for the Halo crowd...

lol. Yeah you can deffinatly see that in some matches.

Even though i'd enjoy busting a cap in you're eye, it's not in my current budget to get my 360 (I dislike Christmas)

Yea I need to pickup RS: Vegas, GRAW was great too, and GRAW 2 looks even better.
