This is just another form on how you interact with another person, the reason why people like you think that everything can be done is simply because the internet still offers a certain amount of anonymity and for losers who have hard time socializing with other peoples (and judging from your reply you fall in the same category) this means feeling free to insult those around you without bothering too much about it.
As for the ‘unwritten book’ you are talking about, no, there isn’t one simply because mature people don’t need one to know the difference between being polite and a total moron.
Ask yourself why everyone cant stand most of the NA crowd in the first place, hell, even the JP which are considered among the most polite and usually have a lot of patience cant take it anymore.
You see, even the damn ‘JP Ornly’ that floats a lot in the forums to me is extremely rude as it makes fun of someone who is not proficient in English trying to speak it. I remember all the threads on the forums when the game was first released of people complaining about JP and EU importers not willing to assist the American players, and funny thing was, they didn’t even understand the reason! Is like, would you want to spend 2 or 3 hours in the evening playing with someone who has no clue of how team play works, he cant relate with players from different countries nor he is able to go further 3 or 4 letters of conversation (brb, gtg, lmao, ftw, stfu, etc.) and follow the rest of the group like a brainless sheep. No thanks, my answer would be the same, and that’s the reason why there are still so many desperate people shouting around for help in the main cities yet no one is willing to help them. I kinda pity those lost souls as im sure not everyone of them fit this category, however this is the idea you guys give to the rest of us playing this game… hell there isn’t even unity in your community as I have seen a lot of racial slurs against black players, especially with the use of the word starting with ‘N’ and that’s really sad.

Unless someone is willing to write the book for the unwriten rules of video game ethics and codes you shouldn't expect everyone fucking out there to understand everything.
