Just sharing with you guys. I was fishing Sunday in Windurst Port and after I reeled in lovely Bastore Sardines my character turned 90 degrees (away from the water). I thought it was weird, turned back towards the water and fished again. Once again after reeling in I was turned away from the water. So I turned back and it never happened again. I'm guessing that GM's are either randomly moving fishers to see if they are botting or maybe someone reported me as a potential botter and I was being tested. :x

I'm hoping that it is the GM's just being random so they can crack down on the bots.

Two known Botters that fish in Bastok Markets, keep getting zoned into Bastok Mines. The first time I saw it, I though maybe they zoned on there own, but then I actually saw them just disappare from where they where and when I zoned, they where standing there in Bastok Mines (Right by the Zone) and where there the rest of the day in the same spot.

I would just have like a GM to say. "{Congratulations} you passed." Or something. I was wondering if my keyboard was messing up for a while. I'm glad to see GM's are doing something, or at least trying, especially since I hear people say spots can get "fished out" which makes it harder for legitimate fishers.

Those two guys in Bastok should be banned then. I thought it was a one time warning and then perma ban?

This lets SE keep there 12.95 a month, but keeps them from bothering other players.

I could have also swore a GM was controlling a Goblin last night, it did not fight like a Normal Goblin would, it actually at one point ran away from me to do range attacks. Wonder if this is how they are combatting Gil Farmers.

O.O

As for the moving thing, my character seem's to move randomly when I try to shoot or cast a spell ; ;

Also, when I have my bazaar up and just standing there, My character will turn...weird...

My character would just take a random turn about 90 degrees. I'd be standing there, then I'd be turned another way. Although, that stopped. I have another problem though. Ever since I've started playing the game, I go to cast a spell or do a ranged attack, and every once in a while it'll say that I moved and interrupted my aim/casting, when my hands are nowhere near the mouse or keyboard. Pisses me off.

Well maybe it was a glitch then. I just never noticed it happen before now.

for the shooting and spell inturuption, it happens if you were moveing Just before you did the action. not always, but sometimes.

I did that random moving thing again today, but it was because I was standing in a weird spot in Jeuno. Usually if you're at the end of one of those weird slope, you move a little.

GM's have been doing less banning on fish botters and more obstructing. They don't seem to message people very often anymore, they just zone you or move you and leave it at that.

GM's get a lot more call's then they used too when botting was a "big thing". Back when it was a "big thing" and people got reported there was only maybe a dozen GM call's. However now at peak time it is not strange to see there being a waiting list of 60-70 call's when you create a complaint. And sometimes the GM wont get to you for a couple hours.

However GM's do random checks now more often as well, which is also a good way to show the community their actually doing something.
