After some thought, I thought I'd throw forth the question - Is it seriously common for NIN to melee in Haubergeon in the L60s range? Back when I was XPing SMN (and even WHM) NINs used to use SH, but I'm wondering if either something changed or if I've just been getting bottom-of-the-barrel tanks. If my assumption is right, I think I found the problem...well, that and I've seen maybe one RDM post-51 actually swap out Ele staves so we more or less fight with zero debuffs on...

Well i did them too back when levelling my rdm. But i always had a BLM in the PT and now i understand why.
 
Too many nins are using Hauby far too often in exp nowadays. Its one thing when you're in a cannon and the mob dies within a few seconds and hate bounces around, but if your in a typical party setup in the 60's, using a Hauby is just dumb. SH is fine, you still get the acc.
 
NINs think Hauby makes them hold hate better because they deal more damage, little do they know their hate is being raped due to shadow loss/being hit at a horrid rate.

Too many people are retarded, thats why exp is bad.
 
I got a static on my NIN and we were killing tormentors at bout lvl 64 with ease, we killed em so fast and had nothing else to kill, so had to kill monkeys, I still have nightmares bout tanking the monkeys. PT set up was WHM RDM MNK BLU NIN SAM, and all of us have 75 jobs, so it is duable in a skilled party.
