I'm just bored after exp'ing today...
1) Why does Flash work on bats?
2) What sort of fight is Beastmaster Maat?
3) Where exactly are these Eastern and Western Empires of which several items speak?
4) Has anyone else seen the seeming plothole between 5-2 and ZM1?
5) Why do higher-lever gobs carry gimped gear? (The ash staves I got from a Goblin Alchemist springs to mind as an example.)
6) Are the North American localizers on crack or something? "It's Raining Mannequins"? "Silence of Lambs"? And have you even read the item description for Bream Sushi +1? Well, at least we know what they're doing during server maintenence...
I'm pretty sure I can think of some more...
1) This is a game.
2) Like summoner maat, he summons a pet and begins to beat the crap out of you. At least unlike smn, which can't fight worth crap, a bst can fight back.
3)My guess about the Eastern Empire is a setup for an expansion pack. Of course, we know this "eastern empire" is really japan... talk about a boost of pride,eh? I'm sure eventually an expansion featuring this eastern empire will show up soon, and at the very least it shows we havn't explored all of our world yet....
4) finish ZM, you will see what happens.
5)Because gobs suck. As a final show of hatred towards us they empty their "in case of death" pockets and the rest decompose with them. This special pocket often holds nothig but crap.
6) Whats wrong with these creative names? They're just names... A lot better then "The quest in which sheep shall die for belt"
Mithra are, so to speak, animals of nature, amazons. Realisticaly, they would be naked. Their fur would pass as their clothing, except for of course armors or basic clothing blah blah. That's probably why their cloths seem sluttish, but S-E really can't do that. Anyways, when's the last time you've (Realisticaly) heard about an amazon in full armor?
*How come when a taru equips something like a G.sword, its about as big as a toothpick, yet when traded to a galka, the same thing is this HUGE weapon?
*Why do all orcs fall down on the exact same side when u kill them?
*why do beastmen carry gil? all of them have their own currency (i.e. silver beast coins from yagudo) why the need to carry gil with them as well?
*what do NPCs do with all those items adventurers give them? (Yagudo necklace quest pops to mind on this one)
*Why cant anybody jump in the game?
*Why can't thieves steal from the AH? i mean... they're thieves after all..
1. All weapons have basic enchantments on them, in a world of various races,to allow anyone to use them.
2. Orcs are stupid?
3. How come we cary beastman currency? We have our own? Really though, probably to either sell among their kind or to barter with us, if you pay attention to quests and stuff, beastman - enlightened race dealings are not that rare, as shown with the gobs in Jeuno.
4. Realisticaly, the quest is done once. In the case of repeatable quests, such as the yagudo neckalace quest, the Tenshodo ships it off to be sold in the eastern empire.
5.It's a game, and there really isn't a reason to jump. Not like you go around jumping every second in rl anyways.
6.Because, it would be like stealing from a shop, they'd have to impliment an intown police system like in other games. Criminals would have to be punished, but how? Some games make them not be able to enter towns without being attacked by guards... others take gil or xp or equipment.... As for FFXI, keeping "stealing" to the enemy makes sure that it doesn't matter, because no one cares if you steal from the enemy.

How does the galka population increase despite there being a set number to begin with who continualy reincarnate?
Why do female and male taru bodies look the same? Are tarus lying about having two different sexes?
Why can't players respawn like mobs?
Why don't mobs gain exp for killing players?
Why haven't towns grown around the tele crags due to their high traffic instead of far away from them?
1. It's a myth among the.. and realistaly, we'll never frikin know.
2. It's a racial quality, they mimic the qualities of children. Sex to them is probably more of a game then it will ever be to humans.
3. We're lucky we respawn at all...
4. Usually they are stronger then us, and once again, it's a game, sorry. Hard to realisticaly compare things when it's done for-the-sake-of-gameplay
5. Because they are relics of ancient times, and the peoples of our times do not really know much about them or how to use them... what we do know is that some magic from the ancient times transports you to them. I'm sure you wouldn't build a town around an alient ancient structure, that for all you know can contain hellish beasts.
