I'm just wondering does anyone know of some kind of added incentive to get rank 10 in all countries? I heard a rumor a long time ago there is some furniture piece you get that's R/E that does.. something.. I dunno if I remember correctly lowers xp loss from death.. is that just wishful thinking?

*quick edit* added incentive meaning something additional to the gil plus nation flag.

No added incentive, just a R/E flag every time you get rank 10 on a nation, aside from the gil you get for each mission individually.

No, the furnishing that lowers EXP loss are the beds, you get a flag from that nation when you reach rank 10. The flags will give you more CP per kill for that nation if it's the dominant furnishing in your mog house. You can also buy aketons once you're rank 10.

The flags look like this:

I wouldn't let galkas in my MH.
Even mannequins.
You never know when it might be a real galka in disguise...

It's unfortunate too. But the storylines are pretty great..at least for Windurst and Bastok. I felt San d'Oria's missions were kinda lame though. :|

D: I really enjoyed Sandoria's story. Haven't completed Windy's and I doubt I'll ever do Lastok but who knows.

don't think i'll ever switch nations, i'm bad enough at remembering to do regular outpost warps, doing them all over again= pain.

you're not kidding.. I'm rank 10 in windy already and compared to those missions Sandy is a breeze. As 75 RDM you can virtually solo/duo your way to rank 9 with the Archlich mission as the only exception. Windy on the other hand, psh yea right.. I remember needing a full party for most missions after like rank 6.

The perks of doing all three is that you have access to all the r/ex conquest point items for each nation. (Not that big of a perk, but it is one.) Also, like in Windy, you get access to that three-mage door and can go through it solo if you do one of the skippable missions. Also, you can get all three r/ex lvl 1 rings.

If you play or ever transfer to Xbox 360 completing the 3 Nations is 3 of the achievements =).

FYI, Bastok's story is awesome.

Ahha! I've been wondering about that! Do they back-date achievements? Like, if I get rank 10 on the computer, will it still unlock the achievement on the xbox?

It a good amount of gil too. I found all 3 stories good.

As for the rdm soloing the sandy one, that not uncommon. I soloed all mine for bastok and windy with exception of the slime mission for bastok and the tonberry in windy. Never got the pleasure of soloing sandy since I was only 66 when I reached rank 10.

There seem to be no gain to getting all 3 flag except the warm a fuzzy feeling that you seen a 3 stories and beaten all the missions, and of course getting the rare/ex items that are good for certain jobs.

Yeah you just have to go to one of the title bards and then go all the way to the bottom of the screen dialog and select "unlock achievement".

a certain loldrg switched to windurst at some point and bottlenecked me on m5-1, can't get the incentive to go do it again.

you know who you are, you damn elvaan!

if you switch nations and eventually switch back to the first one do you gain your op warps back?
