So I get an invite for a party in Yuhtunga Jungle by someone named Rapidfist while I'm in Jeuno. I accept and he tells me to meet the group in the jungle. I wait 8 minutes for the airship to arrive, hop on board, then reach Kazham. I go out to the party and stand there for 5 or 10 minutes and get no response from anyone, then a mnk comes walking up (whom I saw seeking party in Kazham after I arrived) and joins the group.

I ask whats going on and Rapidfist never responds to my tells. They being to fight and I send a few more tells asking if I'm not joining the party now. He replies and says "guess not" and never apologizes for making me spend 20-30 minutes for nothing (took my flag down, all that stuff, so I wouldn't get another invite just in case).

While I can understand getting someone else before a replacement gets to the camp, it's pretty lame for the person to not say anything beforehand and not apologize.

Jungle is the new Q.Island. People are assholes. Thanks for the warning though, i have job around that level.
 
Had someone do virtually the same thing to me years ago. Only worse because they were camping in sky. And instead of someone else joining the party, they disbanded.

Whenever I had to party in jungle and have a long wait time on the ship I usually just check in with the party leader every so often just to make sure he/she isn't a douche and forgets about me.
 
Everyone knows STEELFIST is much better than rpdfst.

Anyways, sorry to hear about the jerk. I'll know not to bother with him if I see him around.

I had this happen to me, only it was Valley of Sorrows. I was all the way out in Cape Terrigan before I noticed the party leader was back in Jeuno, seeking for a new party.

I was looking for images to shop a fight poster for STEELFIST v Rpdfst. Kinda hard to find appropriate images with "Rapidfist" as your search subject.
