I was thinking it had something to do with the reputation of the person commenting to you. I can only guess that getting a rate up only gives a green comment while getting rated down gets grey and red. Green for people with negative or lower status and red from people with higher positive status.

Heh, I've gotten a couple flaming rate-downs because of this thread. Apparently on top of their small dicks, they don't have any balls either, because none of them signed it. The mods changed them to grey though, so there's just some anonymous pussies accomplishing nothing.

I'm not sure if it works that way, since it would make the reputation system completely useless to some people. It's possible though, I don't know how the rep system works.

Well I find it hard to believe mods go through every rating and fix them up as they please. Since a lot of people have gotten grays.

Just out of curiousity, how do you know they changed it? And why would they? If anything I would have just thought it changed because the person who rated you had their rating change.

We only know about the one blabj changed. Which lets us know mods can change it. But it doesnt say everyone of the grays is changed by them. Which is why I said that what you theorized is also possibly how the system works.

The idea is for less reputable people to not effect those who are in higher standing. Like for instance how Peregrine or Blazn were both less than reputable sources, why should they have the same effect on your reputation as someone who is well known?
