If you have an opinion on something, why not own up to what you say? If your gonna rate someone up or down, why not say who you are?
 
last time i asked for comments, i got 5 anon ones, but one person wrote their name. someeone said i was cute, and i want to know who!!!!!!!
 
Well, I sign pretty much every comment I make just so people know. Whether its rating someone up or down. Its funny to see people talking shit, yet they are scared(for lack of a better term) to say who it is.

Really though, the ratings system seems sorta useless...most anyone here won't be swayed by someone having a green, red or...(if high, gold? I don't even know =/) box by their name. Seems to just be an flaming tool comparable to sockpuppeting as of now.
 
I don't even use it. I find the whole thing useless since I never look at it anyways. It's not like people look at the color, whether it's green, red or orange (heck, I don't even think I've seen any color other than green), they'll respond the way they normally do regardless. Might as well just remove it, but then again, I don't think Reeve is around nor probably cares either.

edit: actually, that might have been from me. Rest assured tho, that if it is from me, its unusual that I didnt sign it.

I've gotten at least 3-4 "cheater", "fuck you cheater", and the like, all anonymous.

i mean its pretty obvious who it is thats saying it, at least in my case. I just find it funny that they wont come out and say it.
 
All the positive ones I've gotten are signed and all the negative ones aren't. One was an incredibly helpful "lol" which really helped clarify the negative rating for the post.
 
Why do people even give a shit about the ratings system, anyway? The Carebear Sculli only gave it two ranks, and neither change the color of the dot.

Thought it changes at -100, -10, 0, 50, 100, 1000(...) and 10000 (.........)? The title it gives when you mouse-over, at least.

Know I've seen two people with a red dot, might've been changed since the reputation reset...but all the same I still think the reputation system is more of a "safe sockpuppet" than anything.
 
I don't get the point in adding a system to send comments to each other on a web site that's primary function is to send comments to each other.

hooray redundancy.
 
I usually toss a "-BB" at the end of mine. I suppose a perk is less cluttering of threads since if someone wants to just talk shit to you, you don't neccessarily start a silly flamewar in the proccess.

I've gotten 2 since the system was changed. One was anon and the other wasn't. Both were boosts though. Before the change, my points were higher, but I had a mix of good and bad ones.
 
I only got one rate down, that was from shaunessy making fun of Cf. But most people love me so i have a few rate ups too :D and i'll skull fuck anyone who rates me down for saying i get rated up.

I honestly don't even know if the rating thing works. As a mod I can change anyones rating and my rating didn't turn another color or anything when I changed mine (just for testing purposes, put it right back to where it was).

Usually I can figure out who sends me a rating anyway. I mean, when a particular person is ticked off at me & then suddenly I get a really rude rating... well, let's just say my deductive reasoning is beyond normal.
 
All of mine are good except this one I got from Shaunessy but he's got a dick in his butt about everything. Don't really care about good or not either, cus I'm still fuckin' sexy no matter what.
