Ok, so this is a longstanding bitch of mine. Everytime there's an update, threat of an update, POL update, fucking system msg at this point ... the tells and link chat starts flooding my way. "Why?" you ask? I'll tell you, stupid ass people don't know to read the update history, they don't know where to find the update history, they don't know ANYTHING about the game before the character select screen ... WHY!? this drives me insane on a regular basis and for some reason no matter how hard i bitch, piss, moan, wail, and scream ... no one fucking gets it.
You'd figure for someone interested in doing well on the game you'd do your homework on updates, mobs, quest information, etc ... but noooOoOoOO. Apperantly there's about a handful of us on the server who take the time to give enough of a shit about what we're doing to check our own facts. I'm positive this has something to do with stupid myths, rumors, and misinformation on the game such as the constant stream of bullshit that people talked about before CoP release. Why do these people continue to be ignorant of information put up in GIANT bold print that you HAVE to look at before you log in and come to me or people like me for answers? Like i have nothing better to do than explain the merit point system to a lvl 30 dumbass who couldn't click 2 prompts to read the update for himself .. last i checked literacy is paramount to playing this game, unfortunately it's not highly practiced outside of leet speak (which makes my brain hurt btw..)
