There are not enough L's and O's in the world to express how funny this is.

He does have some pretty superheroey phrases... "Sure he won't recognize us because he is blind, but I'm sure he will recognize the taste of a good meal. Wouldn't you say?"

LOL at using the Donnie Darko hare xD

Wall creeper has a badass costume.

See? this is what happens when you make Watchmen into a movie.

Maybe thats why they called it "unfilmable" for so long.

I'm honestly surprised that it took this long for someone to do something like this. Not the whole campy "Allegiance of Heroes" thing but actually going out to stop crime where they see it. Hell I can actually see making some sort of a mask or the like but "Shadowhare"? "Mr. Extreme"? give me a break. They seem like Rob Liefeld rejects.

And the fact that they look like they are congregating outside of what looks like comic-con doesnt exactly help any semblance of credibility that they might think they have. I mean seriously, a shitty fist pound that looks forced and half-hearted? Why even try? I half expected them to go "Wooooooah Bundy!" afterward. But "Allegience Assemble!" ?!? If I were Stan Lee, I would sue for the hell of it.

On the flipside, I do give them credit. Going out to do some sort of good even if it might end up with them getting hurt is gutsy in my book. They dont know if an attacker might have a knife or a gun or something so hey, props to them.

I love how at one point he goes to an officer "hey if theres anything I can do give me a call" My answer would have been... "You want to do something to help, hows about a few pushups. Dear Lord you're thin. If I were an attacker, I could defend myself with rolled up newspaper."

I would have no problem with someone doing something like this, but seriously. In broad daylight? Walking around in broad daylight?!? If you really want to do this, you do it at night when REAL crime goes down.

For the most part I agree with much of what you said. Except the above. Crimes of all levels go on during daylight hours just as much as they do at night, if not more.

If anything, these guys going around at night are much more likely to get themselves killed or injured. Poor visibility on top of wearing a mask... just plain not smart.

These guys aren't Batman, not even close.. They're wearing t shirts... not any type of body armor. If I personally was gonna dress up and play "Super Hero" like they are, my ass would be protected. Not just by carrying around 'legal weapons' but also having legal body protection... and an actual cool costume wouldn't hurt. Unfortunately.. bullet proof vests are very expensive. Worth it though, if you're going to be putting yourself in that kind of danger. Yet, still a huge wallet drain. I'm talking $150-$250 just for the cheap shit (not bullet proof). You want a good functional piece of body armor.. you're looking anywhere from $500-$800. Not to mention the other pads you'd need to protect yourself. Combat gloves are a damn good idea too.

See, thats the funny thing about fire, if you dont want to get burned, then you dont play with it. If you dont ever think you will be in a situation where you might get get hurt by an attacker, then dont fight crime. Thats why people who dont ever want to be shot at become cops, or people who dont want to see blood becomming paramedics/doctors/nurses. You dont go to where danger is and say "I should be safe because i dont want to get hurt." Hell, just going out in those costumes in daylight is enough to get themselves beat down by someone who thinks they are tough shit.

Now i'm not saying that cops want to be shot at and firefighters want to be burned, but its obvious that they understand the risks when applying for the job and it doenst bother them as it would other people.

I'm just saying that if you want to be a real crimefighter with the costume and all, try it at night. And do you have any numbers to back up the claim that "Crimes of all levels go on during daylight hours just as much as they do at night, if not more." Cause I would make a wager that more, "lesser" crimes (things that these guys could stop) go on at night in places like parks/dark alleys/secluded areas, then places like mid-town manhattan during the day (and yes i know it was done in cincinatti not nyc).

I would seriously love to see these guys come out to places like Newark, NJ. They would be completly laughed out of the neighborhood by everyone including the people they would try and save.

I base this due to the fact that I work at a jail. I've also run the control room during a 6p-6a shift before. so I've seen it first hand. Lots of people do get arrested at night, but there's generally a huge slow down after a certain point. People go to sleep, it's just generally not as active at night. Where as during the day people are constantly being brought in.

Law Enforcement doesn't stop just because it's night though. They're out patrolling just as usual. It's just.. less goes on. Unless it's a situation like Spring Break, summer break or Thunder Beach (huge biker event).
