Hey guys :) Omg you have to watch this. Raes and I were surfin youtube last night after seeing a bunch of old cartoon openings we watched as kids on the cartoon flashback thread... (which is awesome btw) Anyways, we found this awesome little gem and I have to say it gave us both chills. I think if I saw this as a kid it would of messed me up for awhile >_> anyways enjoy!

The quality in the first few seconds is crap but it evens out after a little bit.

Omg, thats so... disturbing. lol I think that would mess up any lil kid for quite awhile!

(oh but the lil villager that gave himself pecs did make me laugh) lol

yo, lol, I have that movie, and I used to love it. Its some "adventures of mark twain" claymation. It is really messed up, but its actually pretty cool, lol. It has many different shorts in it, one with Adam and Eve, one with that country dude that races frogs, one with the balloon race, one with Mark Twains death as they race to halleys comet. Its actually not that bad, lol, pretty cool

As Ruffy said, it comes from "The Adventures of Mark Twain" which was a claymation movie that came out in '85.

A scene from the movie is often posted on the internet, sometimes without attribution as to where it came from. The scene is present on the DVD release, and shows the children meeting Satan[1] (taken from The Mysterious Stranger)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mysterious_Stranger

The Mysterious Stranger is an unfinished work written by the American author Mark Twain that was worked on periodically from roughly 1890 up until his death in 1910. The body of work is a serious social commentary by Twain addressing his ideas of the Moral Sense and the "damned human race". A "complete" version was published posthumously in 1916 by Twain's biographer Albert Bigelow Paine under the name The Mysterious Stranger, A Romance, but this version is under scrutiny concerning the extent of editing performed on Twain's manuscripts by Paine. The published version is a novella.

Thanks for the information, Ruffy & Busta :)

...it is still creepy ;)! hehe

I had the VHS, but I remember the kids still met with satan. Maybe the later VHS tapes removed it due to the controversy. But they left all the other religious parts in, like when God made mankind.
