Rebuild of Evangelion

Oo, how many are there gonna be?

Anime News Network has four listed.

yeah, four as far as I'm aware, I can't wait.

I hope they figure out what version they more soon. Maybe one of the movies will take place on a cowboy themed planet!

Anyway animation looks great with a lot of familiar scenes, i just wonder how much of the original story is going to change.

!! Looks awesome. Who knows.. maybe we'll get a real completed Eva this time around instead of a half assed ending. :3

Though with only 4 episodes... I dunno.. hope they plan on making them long. >.>l;

Well, the first one does Angels 1-5. I belive they're two hour long films.

Hmmmm... finally something worth watching. Can't wait!

I was recently thinking of rewatching this series, but I guess I'll just wait for this now

Ohh... very nice indeed. Yes I think these will be worth checking out.. but..I still hope the ending isn't the same. *sigh* I was so very dissapointed when I first watched Eva. ..In fact, you may even be able to do a search and find that thread somewhere because I posted my reactions here. :3

-edit-
I saved you some work, here you go. April 2005.

Skip the first 5 minutes... and the last 5... and everything is swell.

I tought I was watching scenes from the previous anime. I had to watch more trailers to really see the new stuff (or stuff I didn't remember I think is new...). ; ;

torrents are bad mmmkay

no posting of torrent links or other none-such

Dear ADV,

Please, no matter what you do, get the same VAs from the original taping. I realize you can't find *everyone* since some VAs are little more than temp workers, but do make an effort. For example, when the original Makoto was obviously a nerdy white guy, don't hire a black guy to do his voice like you did in End of Evangelion. Furthermore, don't forget how you pronounced some words. Listening to them talk about "eh-vas" in the movie when not six months prior you were calling them "Ae-vahs" is just painful.

Please, don't fuck this up. Evangelion fans are slighly more rabid than your average anime fan.

Love,

Celv.
