Recast timer

It's on the windower forums under "Other Programs," they keep track of all of the updates along with a runing .ini file so that it actually works.

Zerocast was great when I could get it to work :< Baj do you know of a separate timer that isn't FFAssist? I hate loading it every time before I log in :\

Yep, it's some Japanese file distribution system; it's not too hard to navigate around but you could babel fish it or something if you really want.

Oh, I thought he meant the website. Yes, in the .ini file you have to change the language to english otherwise it'll be gibberish.

/recast?

Works for me.

That can sometimes be off by a second or two, however I'm not such a die hard to need an exact /recast. A second or two off rarely puts me in a bind. (Such as recasting bind, sleep, and gravity while soloing IT's on Rdm for fun)

Actually, I find /recast to always be spot-on. Menu-shown timers are always lagging behind the real timer though.

Heh. Both timers lag behind for me ;/

Like when Steal hits 0:00 and I target through the menu, use the ability, and it says in the chatlog "cannot use ability, etc".

Or when hitting my Bind macro and /recast says 0:02 yet it still start casting.

Either way, I don't see how being off by a second or two could inconvenience people.

They recently released a plugin for Windower that does recast times for both abilities and magic.

Although it caused FFXI to just crash when went to use Flee. Not sure if it's just my setup or an error with the program.

Edit: Well now it's working fine for me. Maybe it's because I had it load at startup.

Edit2: It crashed when Flee was still counting down and I did /shutdown. It's nice because it's integrated into Windower, but it's still at a very early stage of development.
