Hello Quetzalcoatl.
Some of you may have noticed that I have not been around as much. I'm posting this just so you can stop worrying (which I know you probably haven't, but let a guy expand his ego a little :roll: )
Anyways, the past couple weeks of my life have been the most hectic they probably ever have been and ever will. Where to begin...
My grandfather, now 75 years old is now in the hospital with heart problems. At first he was in to get precautionary work done, mainly to put a defibulator in his heart incase it stopped beating, it would shock it and hopefully restart it. However, during surgery, the wire ripped the side of his heart and was in surgery for 3 days in and out, trying to get the hole repaired. He is a medically induced coma as of now, but should be taken out soon.
Then there is my girlfriend who I love most dearly. We've been together quite some time now, and I was only home for a few months before I headed back to college, so I was spending basically every day and night with her. Hectic, but great.
Then there was getting my apartment ready for college. It is a friend of mine's basement, and they said if I refinish it, I could live there for free. So I needed to frame and sheetrock it, then spackle and tape, sand it down nice, prime and paint it, buff the floors, move all my furniture in. I have just finally gotten that stuff in, and I am doing all the wiring of the electical outlets and phone and internet jacks. It is taking a long time, but I am finally getting it together. This along with holding down two part time jobs has been hard, but my college life is finally starting to come together.
So basically, my FFXI time has been reduced to a minimum because of getting life together, as well as not really having a place to play. Hopefully I can get everything situated soon so I can get back to playing with all of you. I can't wait to finally get 75 Dragoon, which is the one thing I have really wanted.
