/rant off.

That really sucks. What will you do if the 4th 360 dies?

I'm surprised with such a failure rate that 360s even sell still :/ Thank Doctor Jesus mine has yet to RRoD, I don't think I'd be getting another one if it did though.

Well, hopefully there won't have to be a 4th one, Since I already have 3 yes... I'm partially ashamed to admit that. lol But I will just send it in to be fixed and hope that it doesn't happen yet again. ><

You are more patient than I. If mine breaks and is covered by the MS extended RRoD service then I will get it fixed. It breaks and isn't covered, I no longer will be a 360 owner. Well at least not until the system is almost into obsolescence and then I will buy it on the cheap and play all the games I missed out on.

I hope this is the last time this happens to you Kairiboo.

Do you people leave your systems running all day and night like people used to do with the PS2?? lol

lol No I don't leave it running. I use it during the day for FFXI, but I never ever leave it on if I'm not playing. =/

this is why xbox fails

So far, over the course of the 360 lifespan, mine hasn't Red ringed, and its part of the batch that shown the red rings in the beginning of the 360's *ahem* life.

If my system red rings, it won't be the end of the world, because I can just play PS3 while it gets fixed, and unless there's a good reason I'll probably get my multiplatforms there so in that case I can still have most of my library playable. I assume by the time my warranty runs out, the 360's lifespan will be over anyway.

Got it for some games I wanted, but I wouldn't center my gaming experience around it.
