But I doubt I'd be able to afford that, or the PS3, anytime before...like...2009...it's gonna cost way, wayy too much ><
 
Somebody posted about Nintendo aiming for Wii's launch price to be 200$ and possibly even 100. That makes me feel all kinds of good.
 
well..i never had any interest whatsoever in nintendo because how most feel their generally kiddy approach to 90% of their games.
so therefore i had no interest in Wii at all, not even curious.

But this video....if it plays the way they made it look.
Could have me buying a wii....
i literally jaw dropped how it looked like the guys movements were entirley duplicated in the game...sword fights. hell yeh.

Play tests say they haven't gotten the controls completely right yet. The gun aiming cursor is too sensitive, plus you have to point at the Wii's sensor rather than the actual screen. Also the sword is limited to a few generic slashes rather than what you are actually doing.
 
Can you buy an optional bayonet adaptor so you can just spear the ducks?

haha, yeah i wasn't even considering buying a... wii, but i'll have to think about it now

That sensitivity thing was only for E3, they cranked it way up because it was the first time anyone ever played it, and they did not want people to take 20 minutes on how to be perfectly sensitive.
 
From what I can tell Red Steel will be awesome control-wise but seems like it'll be a FPS with very lacking story XD and prolly not great multiplayer games *shrugs* we'll see though. I'd rent it before I bought it though.
