Pre-assassin, you can a) miss your TA b) hit for several times your normal damage (not crit), or c) proc a full crit similar to SA.

"My connection was bad but wanted my level" isn't quite unique enough, I'll give you some time to think up a more believable story.

Though here, lemme give you a hand and divert back to the whole weapon/damage thing -again, why were you only doing 120s? Enemy level? The same-level BST out-DDed you easily on his own, as did his pet. My criticals out-DDed your SAs, and I was 66 (same as the BST) most of that party. I voked to set up an SATA many of the fights but it seemed to have no point and left you to figure it out on your own.

No one ever moved, the Dhalmel only turned one way or another - always a 180, facing me or the NIN unless the DRK did a Souleater WS (and even he was typically fighting behind the dhalmel, only slightly to one side). Your "the NIN kept moving" excuse it moot. You landed SAs and TAs plenty of times, I could tell because youd go from ~10s to a ~120. Maybe you should a swordbelt +1 instead of a 3str belt or something? I dunno. All I know is your were doing way, way, WAY under par.

There, now I'm focused on your crappy damage. Feel free to explain.

when u lvl thf then come talk to me, why dont u go solo with ur bst and leave the parties for the other jobs

Obviously I don't know what I'm talking about. SAs are meant to do 120 damage. THFs are meant to be easily out-parsed by BSTs, not even counting their pets. TA isn't meant to be good enough hate transfer to keep hate off the WAR.

im sorry i didnt do war damage on my reg hits ill tell se to have us hold axes and shit like that, and when ur TA person is constantly running in circles around the mob and TA does hit but its set up is shit the damage will be shit too
 
well when the set up is good and u dont have a nin that tries to dodge attacks buy running in circles ta can keep hate pretty good

You should just work on a "good attitude." If you had one, all of this could have been avoided. People with bad gear and bad attitudes just get whacked... Only people with good gear can have bad attitudes, because... Well, they have good gear, no matter how much of a shit head they are!
 
You're post 60 Ish...if you want to have a TAWS, DRK/THF or even MNK/THF are viable options. Cro and I had a DRK/THF SATA Spinning Slash for a few levels in Bibiki when we were leveling up. Shaq partied with us once as MNK/THF (took me awhile to convince him to go /thf), and it was a very succesful party. A THF 'should' know his/her job by now, but I've had many a frustration with thfs failing in vital roles in a party. I realized that if all I want is a SATA ws to keep hate away from me, a skilled DRK or MNK would be a much better option then taking my chances.
