Lighthearted jabs and Flamebaits are all a matter of interpretation. You might say Redshift's are jabs, then something someone, whom you might hold a grudge against, says the same thing and you call it a flamebait. So you post a flame about it, then someone comes in and discounts you just because they feel it's not "flame-worthy"? I lol at that idea. Who are you to say what makes a flame?

I know I think when someone claims to be better than me and won't post up numbers, I'm gonna get pissed about it.

And for the record, connection speed has nothing to do with this. If he feels confident in his numbers, then his connection is just fine. If he tries to use that excuse, then he's pussing out. I'm on a MAX 160KB/s connenction, wirelessly where I get roughly 75% strength at any given time. Do I see all the damage come through? Do I see all the Job Abilities get used? Do I see what armors people have? Yes to all the above. What connection am I running? Oh yeah, lowest level DSL. I'm sorry, I can't accept connection speed as a reason not to prove a claim.

Never thought I'd say it, but ^5 to WSM. You don't need a gaming pc to run FFXI; my mom's $500 Dell w/64MB video card and 512MB RAM runs it just fine.

His excuses are mere cop-outs and having people like you defending him only makes the situation worse.

did you just try to claim that a broadband(low end but still broadband) connection is laggy and shitty? I see what you're trying to say but your example is crap esp since my connection is probably half of what yours is.

Did I say laggy and shitty in my post? Cuz, I don't think I did. I just said that it's lowest out there and everything shows up fine, aka not laggy and shitty. Don't go trying to reword my post to make it sound like something it's not.

All I was saying is that I have the lowest broadband out there, albeit starter DSL (40KB/s), and everything is just fine. So unless he's been running starter DSL for this long (which they switch you out automatically after a year) or is rigging up a dial-up connection (which would be ridiculously stupid to make any sort of claim of high numbers) he's running at least mine or higher. THAT was my point, not that my connection is shitty. I'm glad I had to go back and untwist my words, thanks.

I can outparse ridill WARs given the right circumstances too, your point? And connection speed will effect exp/hr, your driving argument, especially if you DC constantly which by the way, is effected by more than just location.
 
So while this flame remains unlocked, and is pointless, my own flame was locked for no reason.

I would assume that yours was locked because of the fix they implemented that now allows you to ignore Jyak.

I would assume you may be onto something. I don't think anyone is used to seeing threads being locked because of a solution. Most times they get locked because they get... recockulous.

If i am understanding correctly i think our problems are much the same

Right-o. And thats the solution. You're not going to be able to say "Ban this person" and have it happen, but at least regardless of the fact they are some level of moderation on the site, you can now ignore them and pretend they did.

Uhhh, I know this. It was sarcasm.

The point was taken from him saying Ridill was dead and WAR/SAM was where it's at. I challenged him about it, he said he could probably make it, then suddenly he had connection issues.
