First off, I'd like to apologize to everyone. For various personal reasons, both good and annoying, I've had no where near the amount of free time I normally did. Thankfully, things are getting quieter and its allowing me to focus on alot of things that have gone neglected. Sadly, its not just qcdn, but other things in my life too. So as I read the criticisms, the only thing I can say is that for the most part you guys are right. There's no excuses here - its an issue on my part and we'll see if we can put some resolutions on the table to help remedy that... sound fair?

In regards to some specific comments made:

I created the BLM ONRY forum but not the usergroups needed to go with it. I picked that one because it was at the top and it was my sincerest intention to go through and get all the outstanding LS forum requests done with. Maybe its just me but I found the task extremely tedious in its current state. I spoke with various admins running other large vb sites and one showed me a way to possibly improve the process which I am trying out right now. Not sure if its any better but I was able to knock out the outstanding requests.
If this doesn't work, I will hire a coder and attempt to resolve the issue programatically but we will see.

I know this doesn't cover everything as of yet, but lets make this a good start to resolving all the issues.

Not at all. When RL issues pop up, it only takes 5 seconds to post a "Sorry, things are coming up. I'm a bit busy now but I'll be back as soon as I can" type post to show that you care. This never happened, and the only things we ever heard from him were on the WoW board, which certainly didn't imply that he was busy considering he was asking people to play with him. He needs to at least give a few basic admin abilities (IP banning, forum creation) to another user in case he gets busy again.

He's been playing wow and posting about it, I don't think his RL is all that fucked up to come on here and do what he is supposed to do.
 
Ironically, I haven't really been playing wow although I did renew my subscription. The reason I posted about it is that lot of people were going to reroll bloodelf and if they were, it would be somewhat cool if everyone got on the same server. But no, I never said my life was fucked up but it has been extremely busy.

I totally would do it too. If I had the PHP skills to do so. And I guess running a big forum takes a lot more work than a small one. :)

Sorry you had to get hassled by the people Reeve, but running a forum with so many people in it like this one is almost (if not is) a full time job.

Eh, I can do a decent amount of work on this site and only check it a couple of times a day. Sometimes I can pull an hour or two stretch if there is a good thread.

Though, there is a difference between checking it daily and not checking at all. ;|

Why would you want private fourm on here anyway would seem lot easier if the just went here http://www.atfreeforum.com/
Get you own free forum and can do what ever the hell you wanted to do with it.

There are still terms and conditions you have to agree to when getting your own "free forum" and though its not often, if your forum does go against the host site's terms and conditions, it can be reported and then shutdown.

And.... there's always the annoying adds.

Free forums are convenient, but not the best.

Its convenient here. If you have multiple LS's with forums here, or you just frequent these boards, its like one-stop shopping.
