registration codes

I'm getting a new laptop today and planning on playing ffxi on it. I lost the registration code for the very first one I installed (the vanadiel collection), but have every other expansions code. Do I need that code to install ffxi on the new laptop? If so, how do I get it back? Or am I just screwed?

I'm pretty sure your reg codes are stored on SE's servers. You don't need them to install, you just need the codes to access the content, which you already have access to since you have it installed on another pc (i assume).

Every re-install i've ever done never once had to put codes in.
